On November 8th 2017 my father dropped off his 2008 *** at Denver Auto Hail Repair to get hail damage repaired. Sean T who is the director of sales at Denver Auto Hail Repair assured my father that the work would be done in about two and a half weeks. About two weeks after dropping off the *** my father went to check on the progress of the car and upon arrival noticed that the body shop was cleared out and closed down. My father and I tried contacting Sean through phone calls and email and he never responded. We later came to find out that the owner of Denver Auto Hail Repair filed for bankruptcy and that the *** had been moved to a second body shop called *** owned by the same owner. He also filed for bankruptcy on *** and the repairs on the *** were not complete and they did not follow the insurance instructions to replace the cars hood instead they popped the dents out and cracked the paint. We have retrieved the *** but it is still full of dents and needs to be painted and the hood needs to be replaced, but Denver Auto Hail Repair just cashed the insurance checks made minor repairs and now wont complete the work or refund us the money owed to get the *** repaired.
this "organization" provided terrible customer services and returned my vehicle to me only after I chased them down the week after Thanksgiving, 2017 only to find in the next couple weeks all of the pieces/parts they left off my vehicle. it has cost me $600 repairing my car from the work they did. I found out on the day I got my vehicle back they didn't have any paperwork and I was very lucky to get my car back as the owner was going to file bankruptcy that day. they doubled my insurance company's estimate of the work and did a bad job. I was very happy just to get my car back, but totally disappointed in this company.
Repairs on vehicle were not completed even though they have taken full insurance payment. The company also did not honor their contract in which they started there would be $0 out of pocket and defaulted on payments for the rental car agreement.
I handed my vehicle over on July 7th, 2017, expecting the hail damage to be repaired in 6-8 weeks. Instead I waited and waited and kept getting excuses for why it was back logged. After August 27th, my rental car was no longer under insurance coverage. and I called Denver Auto Hail Repair to check on status and inform them that I no longer had rental coverage. They said to tell *** to assign the contract to them and that they would take care of the rental car as per their marketing and agreement there would be zero out of pocket.
In late October I received a phone call from *** saying that Denver Auto Hail Repair had defaulted on the rental car payments and that I was no liable for the payments or it would be sent to collections. To stop the bleeding, I went and picked up my car on November 21st, 2017 from Denver Auto Hail Repair. The vehicle still had damage and trim work that needed to be done and I was assured that I could schedule a time to come in at a later date to complete the repairs. I paid over $1,600 to *** for the rental car, which I was also told would be reimbursed in a few weeks by check.
I went to Denver Auto Hail Repair on Dec 7th to get my balance repairs done and the company seems to have vanished. Along with paying lease payments on a car I was not able to use for 4+ months, and the rental car payments, plus whatever else I'll now need to pay to get the car repaired is simply criminal.
I went to DAHR to have my hail damage repaired on my 2016 *** after the May 2017 storm in Denver. They contracted much of the work out and my insurance paid them $11k. After I got my car home 10 weeks later, I washed it, only to realize that the roof is leaking from multiple points. The headliner was creased and dirty and the liftgate was installed improperly so it grinds and chips the paint when opening and closing. Further, there is dirt and fingerprints between the clearbra on the hood and there are scuff and scratches all over my car. It was returned to me dirty so I didn't see some of the exterior issues until I had it home and cleaned. The entire car now smells like mold! I contact DAHR multiple times between the months of September and October. On 10/31, my car was finally inspected for the second time by DAHR. On Nov 1, I was told to contact *** in Arvada to handle my warrantee repairs. Once contacting them, they had me come in to review the problems on 11/29. I was told they would take care of everything and would call me to schedule my repairs within a couple days when they knew how long the new headliner would take to ship. I was finally able to contact them on 12/11 where I was told that there were new owners and they needed to find out if they would help me. Today, on 12/13, I am told that DAHR and *** had the same owner who is filing for Bankruptcy! Now I have a brand new car that leaks water, smells of mold (health concern!) and my insurance already paid so no one will fix it!!
I had hai damage to my vehicle back in the end of May 2017, I had an agreement to take my car in for repair. The owner Jim promised an estimated time to complete the repair of 2 weeks no more than 1 month. First month went by they did not finish the repair. Long story short, I had to wait until September of 2017 to get my vehicle back. Within this tim I had to contact the shop at least 20-30 time via phone, email, text. I had to visit the shop at least 3-5 times to even located where my vehicle was. I had my vehicle move to different locations.I had to deal with at least 4 people at the shop to get this resolved. The rental car the shop provided was not sufficient to my daily use. I repeatedly request for a comparable size vehicle since I have children I have to take care of. This became really dreadful hassle for my time and expenses. Over all I had to wait 6 months for a guaranteed and promised 2 weeks estimated repair time. Once I got my car there were parts missing and not reasemble correctly. My sun visor on the passenger side was broken, door parts missing, windshield wiper not working, roof lining not assemble properly, there are blemished on multiple places on the vehicle. had to spend money and to fixed these.
I took my vehicle to be repaired by Denver Auto Hail Repair because after talking with the sales representative they seemed like a worthy company. Well I had my vehicle in their shop for over 5 months only to find their work to be sub-par. I had many items broken or damaged in their care. After dealing with them and being spoken to and degraded by both Sean and Heather in their office they agreed to send me to their sublet company to get the items fixed. I am ok with this as long as the items truly get fixed. What I am complaining about is in my contract they were to provide a rental for the duration of repairs that they would pay for. Now I come to find out that they are not honoring their original agreement and I am now left will a bill from the rental company. It is my understanding that they changed their policy and no longer offer a rental for the full duration however they changed their policy after we had already went into an agreement that I was never notified nor agreed to an amendment.
Denver Auto Hail assured me that they would be covering the rental fees after the 30 days (that my insurance covers were up). I received a phone call from *** after the 30 days also letting me know that Denver Auto Hail would now be covering the fees until the car was returned. I am now receiving notice that Denver Auto Hail has not paid ***. So *** is trying to have me pay this bill when it was agreed upon that Denver Auto Hail would be handling this.
My car was in the shop for 1 month prior to them contacting me and letting me know it was going to take 7 weeks for my car to be ready. 3 months past by and I decided to call them because I heard nothing during that time the guy at the shop tells me it's ready to be picked up. When I get to the shop I was devastated, the paint job was horrible it looked like a little kid did the paint job. Nothing from what I was promised was done to my car. When I spoke with the man that I was working with he told me we will repaint your whole car because with time the paint can fade and it will look like two different colors. Only the hood and the roof where repainted. As I open the door it has nails hanging around and filthy. I called the shop and had them redo my car again because the side of my mirrors where not buffed out correctly and paint got all over my windows and told them they needed to get it cleaned off. When I went back the second time it was a little better but not to my expectations. I noticed right away items where stolen out of my vehicle. When I confronted the guy he said oh I will ask around to see if anybody saw it. I gave them a week and heard nothing. When I called back some guy called the vice president told me I needed a police report now so I can claim my stuff when I was told by the other person the owner of the company said no problem we can get them replaced. I am talking about $180 worth of items stolen. Before all this happened I recommended Denver Auto Hail Repair to my family members and when my uncle picked up his car he told me he was very unsatisfied with the job they had done. Never again will I go here and I will make sure I let everyone know not to come here.
I took my car (2017 *** w/4k miles at time of drop off) in 05/10/17, two days after the severe hail storm. Patrick told me they would be able to repair my car and I would be provided with a rental during the repair. A couple of months in I was receiving zero communication and the run around. They said all the dents were repaired and it was going to be painted at *** in Arvada. It was taken to *** approximately around July. They would not tell me where it was exactly so I tracked it with the GPS system I have in the vehicle and went to look at it. There was damage to multiple panels inside the car and the window tint. I brought it to Patrick's attention and he explained to me that he was made aware by a technician about some of the damage, but not all of it. He said to not worry the damage would be taken care of. They continued to work on the car. I went to check on it almost once a week on my day off because my calls were not being returned. Each time I went there more and more things wrong with it and no progress. When I started noticing the damage they were doing they told me I was being picky and it's not that big of a deal. When they finally said my car was done being painted there were exterior pieces that were replaced that were not put on correctly, parts they were paid for that were not replaced, and a paint job that was done incorrectly. It went to *** a total of 3 times, each time it came back with more damage and a poorly done paint job. On 9/26/17 I received a call from *** telling me they needed to switch me cars. I went down on 9/27 and from I was told by the employee of *** was that she was on a conference call with Sean and Joel and they were no longer going to pay for my rental. I received a call from Sean and he told me they were no longer going to pay for the rental because they lost money working on my car and they were no longer going to work on it. I told him I wanted my car back and he said they needed the insurance check even though the car was not done. I took the check down on 9/27 around 6pm and Sean wanted me to sign a release of liability. I would not sign it and he refused to give me my car. I explained to him that if I gave him the check he could not hold my car. Finally he gave me my keys and I left. Sean told me on 9/28 that he was working on the list of parts for my car that needed to be replaced. I have not heard anything since then. With the wet weather we have been having the car is undriveable due to the rear doors not having door seals near the wheels.
Took my brand new truck in for hail damage, took over 45 days to get my truck back. When I got it back there are just lose parts just sitting in my truck dont even know where they go. Made a hole in my headliner!
The paint job on the tuck was subpar there are little bums and imperfection all over the brand new hood.
Try to call back to get it fix. Told me they will schedule me in. 2 weeks go by and still nothing!
Every time I call, they always say they are busy and to leave a message to call back. Not once I have gotten a call back from them! Worst communication ever!!!
Dont think I even want to bring my truck back!
Be aware, this business is shady!! They had our vehicle for 1 month, returned it without all the hail repairs done. We reminded them the insurance paid for other items to be repaired and their response, "oh yea, thanks for the reminder". They had the vehicle another 2 weeks and it still isn't fully repaired. We had to appeal to our insurance company. When we finally got our vehicle back, we found parts from other peoples cars in the trunk, (good thing we looked and returned them), foam insulation from somewhere sitting in the back seat (we still have no idea if it even belonged to us or someone else), car mats missing, inside door molding taken apart and not replaced, the DVD player doesn't work (said it’s our fault even though they admitted they took it apart), the bell when the keys are left in the ignition doesn't work...I could go on. I was in the waiting room so often I could hear employees on the phone telling other customers they were sorry. If you can accept poor work and employees who don't care about customer service, and like to hear sorry, this is the place for you. We are baffled how these folks are still in business. I wish we would have waited for a more reputable company. Waiting has to be better than what we went thru.
I don't understand how this place stays open even after all the bad complaints and the struggles they put their customers through. I have been waiting on my car to get repair since June 13, 2017 it's now about to be mid august and they're still delaying the process to get things done. It's excuse after excuse. I walked into the shop only to hear the phone ring several times and overhearing the conversations the receptionist would tell the customers the same excuses they told me "sorry there has been a family emergency so we are backed up" "sorry the body shop has had some issues and it's out of our hands" "one of our workers was out sick and has put us on a hold with cars" like I said they always have some sort of excuse. Also every time I would ask where my car was located they could never tell me a straight forward answer. As a customer and owner of the car I think it's fair to be informed every step of the way where your car is located and the exact address. thankfully my insurance got involved and we will be taking legal matters if my car is not returned within the date they have now given us. I recommend you Avoid this place at all cost!
The May 8 hailstorm caused over $1.4 billion in damage making it by far the most damaging storm in Colorado’s history according to the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association. Even though we are Denver Metro’s premier service provider of hail damaged vehicles and Colorado’s largest year-round hail repair facility we were unprepared for this massive storm.
Our mission is to provide the best professional and most ethical service while restoring the pre-storm value to vehicles. We have fallen short of our mission and appreciated the patience of our customers. Our claim specialists were trained to classify vehicles based on damage and give approximate completion dates. We apologize for not meeting these turn-around times.
We have done our very best to resolve production bottlenecks as evidenced by the following:
• Tripled office staff
• Quadrupled the number of skilled technicians
• Hired full-time estimators, quality assurance personnel, and service advisors
• Acquired additional production space and a 10,000sf body shop to meet demand
Our largest production bottleneck by far has been vehicles that require paint and bodywork. Reports of most Denver Metro auto body shops being backed up three to six months or longer due to severe shortages of painters, body men, preppers and finishers are completely accurate. These labor shortages have resulted in major production delays at our eight contracted body shops as well as our own.
This valued customer is 100% correct - all ought to be informed and told the truth about their vehicles every step of the way, not given excuses or blaming others. We have now hired and are in the process of training a new service advisor to do exactly just that. This particular storm taught Denver Auto Hail Repair many valuable lessons. For all our customers who experienced delays we covered the additional rental vehicle expense and waived their deductibles. Most important though is honest and timely communication.
If there are any past, present or future customers that may have any issue with Denver Auto Hail Repair, if our service advisor is unable to resolve such, please ask for the General Manager who will. For this specific customer, we offer our sincerest apologies.
Denver auto hail repair sales people trespass on private property, ignoring posted no trespassing signs and posted no soliciting signs, in order to illegally distribute their flyers.
This is breaking one law, and one civil statute
I would expect a business with a higher Revdex.com rating as this one has to not engage in illegal and intrusive advertising procedures.
Hello Mary. We have several independent contractors and tell them to respect private property and obviously not to trespass. I would like to address this with the person who did this. If you would provide the name off of his flyers you saw, I can get with him/her and ensure this is resolved immediately. Thank you!
