Demeter Fragrances

I've bought many fragrances from Demeter. I think the scents are clever and accurate. The problem with all of them is that the scent has no staying power and is whisked away within about 20 minutes, no exaggeration. Why is this? To keep it's customers buying more and more? I know this to be an easy problem to fix, so please fix it.

I ordered over $60 of their products. FedEx delivered to the wrong address. Called them and they said they would resend. 2 weeks later, nothing happened and I called again. They then said there was a picture of delivery when FedEx delivered the package. Yeah, on SOMEONE ELSE’S DOORSTEP, which we had discussed on the first call and even told them that it wasn’t my doorstep. They said ok, they will send me replacement. It has now been close to TWO MONTHS since I first made my initial purchase. I am beyond angry, I feel like they should refund my money and send me my stuff for free at this point.

Review: I have been trying to get a result from this company for the past few weeks. Below I copy & pasted the last email I sent to them on Thursday February **, 2016.

Good evening.

I'm writing in regards to an order I placed back in December. I originally emailed on December ** about my issue but I have yet to hear back from anyone.

The email I sent that day is quoted below

"My order number is #[redacted]. I'm writing for a refund for two reasons.

A refund for my shipping- I upgraded to 2nd day shipping so I could receive my order before Christmas- it arrived the day after.

And second, when I received my order it didn't have the roll-on perfume in it. I checked the invoice, it has it listed on there but it was just the 1oz spray I ordered & the free gift of the gingerbread diffuser oil.

So I would just like to be refunded for the shipping and the roll-on perfume."

So hopefully the fact that I'm writing again, after this has gone unresolved for over a month, will finally get things resolved.

I'm hoping for a quick & easy resolution- I would just like to have a store credit issued to me, in the amount of the shipping (which was $6.99 for [redacted] standard ground originally but then upgraded to 2nd day [redacted] & charged the difference which was $8.00) and in the amount of the roll-on perfume which was $10.00.

On the bright side, this little blemish in customer service is not going to deter me from ordering from Demeter Fragrance in the future!

My desired outcome is to receive a Demeter Fragrance store credit in the amount of $24.99Desired Settlement: I think the business has a responsibility of carrying out prompt customer service & effectively responding to customers. I also think the business should be responsible for issuing a store credit in my desired amount.
