My findings on this case were that the customer signed to have the work completed including the tire rotation she says she didn’t want She was only charged for reading the engine code, and it was due to a gas cap that was just sitting in the filler neck and not tightened, the trouble codes present will support this, and she has not had a repeat of the issue since we properly installed it for her Warranty will only pay for the diagnostics if it is a warrantable condition, which neglecting to tighten your gas cap does not fall under In the simple sake of customer satisfaction, I extended to her a free oil change and tire rotation for future service I feel that this is more than fair in light of all the before mentioned information Please let me know if you need any additional information in reference to this, as I will consider the case closed after I send thisRegards, Adam W [redacted] Service Manager DELLA Toyota
