Review: I have a problem with Delecon Appliances LLC product, warranty and the company as a whole!!! I started having problems with the washer I bought before the warrenty was up. It took weeks to actually get a hold of someone after several attempts to call leaving messages both voice and text. When I finally spoke with someone there was promises of someone to look at it and fix it. Weeks later with no one showing up they replaced my washer with another one that broke down a week later. Again taking weeks for anyone to return my call they again replace my machine with one of half of the others value. Promising me another Maytag washer in excellent condition I received a kenmore that has a screw inside holding the barrel together!!!! Now on top of that the dryer does not shut off no matter what setting it is. I was supposed to have a 90 day parts and labor warranty for fixing the machine I bought not to replace it with ones that are in worse condition and less value!!!!! I told the manager last time that I was tired of dealing with this company and wanted a full refund or was filing a formal complaint. He promised me not to worry he would resolve it. I wish I would have checked the Revdex.com on them first! Delecon already has 16 formal complaints for the same reasons!!!! This company should be shut down!!!!Desired Settlement: I want the $450 I paid for the washer and dryer and they can pick up the machines. I should get reimbursed for they money I had to spend at laundry mat for all the weeks I could use the ones I paid for however I will settle for the purchase price.

Review: We received a defective washer/dryer unit from Delecon in November 2014. Delecon said they would exchange and brought us an incompatible unit which did not work in the space we had. They took back both sets and told us we would get a refund. It is now Feb 2015 and after dozens of text messages back and forth with Rich, and being told the check has been sent on more than one occasion, I am fed up. Today my husband went to the store for the 3rd or 4th time in a couple months to get reimbursement and one of the employees threatened him. These people need to be shut down.Desired Settlement: We are owed $280.00

The customer did receive a refund and also we do not make threats to customers in the five years we have been in existance nor have we ever had any complaints as such. We took care of this customer in a professional and respectful manner and all customers are advised if they are to receive a refund it is usually completed in six to eight weeks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and stand by my original statement that we were threatened - this is not something I take lightly or would accuse anyone of doing unless it actually happened. Delecon sent us a check for partial credit, subtracting for "restocking" as well as a fee for the delivery they attempted to make with the wrong items to correct the initial problem. They also back-dated the check they sent us in late February to 12/24/2014 for some reason. Overall, this was a bad experience and we will never conduct business with them again nor will we recommend our friends and family to do so.

Review: Purchased a so called refurbished washer and dryer. Got them home, washer leaks and the dryer makes a loud noise. Attempting to return on 7/30/15.Desired Settlement: Full refund with the return of appliances.

Garbage! Bought 2 stoves and a fridge... the fridge delivered had mold in it (supposed to be cleaned out), stove 1's burner didn't work and didn't have the innards, stove 2 had a gas leak and the gas company had to lock the gas for my tenant. They are selling products that are literally a health concern.
When a "separate" company delivered they also charged me for the gas tube $20... which does not cost $20.
I would have had better luck picking up from a landfill or the side of the street, WHICH IS WHERE THEY GET IT!

Review: Hello I need help with a scratch and dent appliances company Delecon Appliance at [redacted]. Back in February I brought a side by side refrigerator for this place the total cost was 375.00 and that included the delivery fee and I had a 90 warranty everything covered after the 90 days I still have a warranty with the story I'm just responsible for parts and a mileage fee that is not listed o the sell invoice. At the end of June bargaining of July the frig would shut off for about 4-5 my food in the freezer would unthaws to the point the ice in the ice tray turned into water my 90 days where up so I call the company and they contract there repairs out after 90 I was told and a the repair guy would come. He came out on 7/9/16 I told him what the frig was doing he sad its the time even though he turned the time off and the timer kicked back on the frig as it was suppose to. He replaced the timer he never looked at the frig is do a diagnosis just it was the timer I paid him 227.00 for everything went food shopping left the house about 3pm got back home about 9:30pm to find the frig is not working. I called the repair man on Monday 7/11/16 and told him it wasn't working he came back out changed the timer again and said if I don't have the frig pulled into an outlet be its self there was nothing else he could do. I was surprise to hear there's nothing I cant do when clearly something is wrong with it because it work sometimes. On 7/18/16 in the evening the frig had stop working all together its just blowing out air and running but the air Is not cold at this point nothing is in the frig but the ice trays. I call Delecon again and the repair came out on 7/20/16 he was at my homes from 5pm-7:45pm trying to fix the problem which he said was ice build up in the back he asked me for a blow dry to melt the ice. As a repair man shouldn't you have the tools for that but I got him a blow dryer water all over me kitchen floor I was not happy.Desired Settlement: I would like the seal to be replace so that my food will stay cold and so that the refrigerator continue to work. And if they don't wont to fix the door when I would like me money back.

Review: Bought a new washer on 11/20/14 for 220$ For there location on North Braddock Ave. Workers loaded it into my car I took it home and installed it. Immediately went to wash a load of closes and the washer then started to pour water out of the bottom and saturated my brand new carpet in a very larger area. I called the store and told them what happened and told them since I have not had my "new" washer for even two hours and my basement carpet in ruined I desperately just wanted a refund and I felt the should cover cost for my carpet., and I would bring the washer back myself. They told me the boss would call me in the am. Which he did and informed me they were not willing to give me a refund or help me with my carpet they were only willing to have me pick a new washer and they them selfs would deliver it so I drop washer off picked out different one and they said it old be silver later today. When they brought it I first noticed they switched the body of the old washer I picked and put it on the new one which I asked them not to do b.c when they were unloading it from my car they scraped up the whole side of the washer. Also when they sent someone to deliver it they only sent one person when at the shop it told them it would take two people because they had to take it around back to my downstairs doer and there were to steps the a drop into my basement. Since the only brought one person the had to unload it off back of the truck and get it down and into my basement in the process all the slamming around left two dents down the front of the washer from the dolly it was on. So I now have a washer that is all scraped and dented up which is not what I originally paid for and is not how it was when I picked it out. My basement now smells of a strong odor of mildew so now puts me at risk for mold issues which puts my health at risk when they should have to take care of that because they sold me a washer that was broken. Gentlemen that delivered the washer even commented on the smell/wetness of carpet.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund (I don't care if they take this washer back or not. I wanted a refund) also I want them to pay for the cost of my carpet and the padding to be replaced before I have a mold issue since my basement already smells like mildew and it is now a Health hazard. They sold me a washer that did not functions properly. I also after all of the issues read the receipt and realized that on the back of the receipt they have places to have people initial which they did not have me do.

Review: Purchased a used washer from Delecon for $200. Within 30 days it stopped spinning. Numerous answered and unaswered phone calls, texts and emails. I still could get no satisfacion whatsoever.Desired Settlement: I even offered less money ($150),but got no resolve of any kind. I would like a refund, as I had to buy another washer.

Review: My husband and I purchased a Washer and dryer on February 2, 2015 was delivered on February 3, 2015 the washer leaked all over our floor, I was then told another one would be brought out on February 4th 2015, That one also leaked all over my floor. I was then told that another one would be brought out on February 6, 2015. By 11:30 am we had not heard anything from them so I sent a text message (only way to contact them) still nothing. So we tried the phone number listed on the card and it is out of service, so we contacted the Pittsburgh number and were told that the guy that does the deliveries is out sick and that they will have to try to find someone to deliver another one to us but don't know when, they will have to contact us at a later date.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of the amount we paid $200 plus tax for the washer as we feel that another defective one will be sent again.

Review: I purchased a used refrigerator on 8/1/15 from Delecon for $310 plus tax. Within 24 hrs after delivery, it no longer stayed cold. The company has a 90 day warranty on all of their products and, after we informed them of the problem, sent a repairman (several days after we called). He serviced the fridge, but the next day it still did not work. When we informed them of this, they brought another fridge several days later and took the original back. This fridge also did not work. When the repairman came to service it, he informed me this fridge would need significant repairs and I was to go pick another from the store. I picked another from the store and had it delivered, but once again within a day or two it did not work and they never took the other away.

At this point, still with two broken fridges in my house, I requested a refund. The business claims that the "boss" is not available but they would give him my message. I have called every day for two weeks and they still tell me they cannot help me and need to talk to their boss. They guaranteed, under warranty, a working fridge and have yet to produce that. All of the food in the fridge and freezer was lost because of the multiple switch-overs and prolonged periods with a broken unit.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

Review: Several things are included in this complaint. Including, warranty issues, customer service and repairs.

1) washer was bought on Saturday, 7/11/2015, I was told I would be called to set up a delivery time.

2) By Wednesday, 7/15/2015 I had not heard anything and called the store. 3 phone calls were placed where It just continued to ring and there was no answer. Finally on the 4th call a gentleman picked up and told me that they would call me and let me know later.

3) About 8pm that evening, I was called and told that they would be there the next day.

4) it was delivered by two men about 11:15am on 7/16/2015, they would not bring it into the home and left it on my porch.

5) That evening we got the washer into the house and tried to install. There was water spraying everywhere. We place a call to the office, with no answer.

6) The next day we called again several times with no answer.

7) Saturday 7/18/2015 we finally got a hold of someone at the office and was told they would call us back. 2 hours later, we called back with no answer.

8) proceded to call several times over the next couple of days. approximatly 12 times. There was never any answer. (It should be noted there was no answering machine as well to leave a message)

9) on Monday 7/20 at 8pm the two men that delivered the washer showed up at my home to fix the washer. The one gentleman must not have spoke English but the other one was quite rude stating that It was our fault it was broke. and It was the woman's fault who sold us that washer for selling a washer that he did not inspect before sale and that she did not test run for us at the store. He then showed us the broken valve in the back and said he did not have the part with him and would be back soon.

10) starting Tuesday at 8am there were approximately 30 phone calls placed to Delecon with no response about when the part would be there to be fixed.

11) Finally on Saturday 7/25/2015, we went out to another place and bought a $30 new valve which we came home and installed ourselves. (It should be noted here that the place we bought that valve has been in business for over 30 years and saw the broken piece and claimed there was no way that we could have broke that ourselves and it had to be broken for some time) The washer is still spraying water everywhere. We called again this time someone answered and said they would call right back. No response after 2 hours, so we went to the store. Here we met with the original saleswoman who was very nice but also very confused about what the man had said about her sales techniques and basically said there was nothing she could do. At this point we told them to come pick up the washer and return our money.

12) On Monday 7/27/2015, the man called my cellphone and left an angry message about coming to pick up the washer and how it was not their fault for the breakage. He then called my boyfriend and yelled at him for a half hour, refusing to let him talk at all, telling him that the broken washer was our fault and he would pick it up but we would not receive any money back or replacement for the washer.

On the contract it does state that there is a 90-day warranty.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. $180.00 for the washer, and 10.80 in taxes.

The $30 and $1.80 in tax for the replacement valve (It's still in the washer they can have it)

and $100 for having to go to the laundry mat for 3 weeks while they did not fix the problem or call/answer about when they could fix it.

Review: I bought a refrigerator from Delecon Appliances April 15, 2016 and they delivered it a few days after and I followed everything they said to do like don't plung the refrigerator in wait 24 hours. It worked fine then after a couple weeks it started to make a very loud noise like a air compressor so I called them to tell them since it was in my 90 day warranty & they never called me back I kept calling & kept getting the run around then in June it started to over freeze & it had stopped working so I unplugged it & let it defrost & cleaned the water up after that it kept doing it & I continue to keep calling them I finally got a hold of the lady that works there & finally got someone to come look at the refrigerator & he did the same thing I did to defrost it & told me I put to much food in my fridge so I went & got a deep freezer as he told me to do & moved all my freezer food into the deep freezer besides some ice cubes & it continue to over freeze. I called them & told them I went & got a deep freezer as he told me to do & I have only ice cubes in the freezer & its still doing the same thing. The lady said she would have someone call me to come look at it or bring me a new refrigerator & nobody ever called me back & now the refrigerator is completely dead it doesn't work at all & its been a week & I kept calling them telling them I need someone to fix it or bring me a new one I have two children I need to feed & we are now out of a refrigerator because of this & I kept hearing the same thing "i will have my boss call you" & never get a call back.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my refund on my refrigerator since they refuse to honor their 90 day warranty or I would like to get another refrigerator that actually works.

Review: Bought a gas range from them. a month after we got it the oven went. So I had to take it to them to get repaired. Then the oven went again. don't think they used a new part in it when they fixed it. So 2 weeks ago my oven went again. So I called them got no responce. Then was cooking on it and my lights went out in my home. My husband pulled the stove out and found out that is was sparking and kicked a breaker in my home. Called and told them about it and they treated me like I was stupid and did not know what I was talking about. I am sorry but I have a natural gas stove and will not use that if it keeps doing it. So now I have no stove to cook my kids dinner on.Desired Settlement: I want a refund so I can go buy a gas range that is safe to use

Review: ok yesterday the 19th my refrigerator was too be delivered and it was not and when I called the deliver guy said they were loading up the truck and would be her in a bit 5 mins later he called back and said that there was something wrong with the truck and he said I thought you were someone else well I told him if there was something wrong with the truck then how are you using it he said it would be delivered sometime after 10am I told him it better be here by 11am today he got nasty with me this location has two people that are from Nigeria I am afraid they got the money 290.00 and are not going too deliver the fridgeDesired Settlement: I want money put back in My boyfriends account of some of the delivery charge because of there incompetence and Lying too me

Review: I purchased a washer and dryer from them, I have had to run down to store 3 times so far because of being out of their service area for warranty, it's 60 miles one way. The washer didn't work so we took it back got a loaner washer that didn't work, took it back got another one that don't work. Now my dryer quit working. We have called them numerous times to resolve the issue and never get a call back. This has all been since Jan 4thDesired Settlement: A refund and to have them shut down
