September 22, 2017RE: complaint # [redacted] Good afternoon,I wanted to give you an update on what we are doing regarding complaint # [redacted] .On August 30, 2017, we put a monitoring device on the equipment to see if it is operating as designed We removed the device after days of monitoring and reviewed the reports There were some questionable results so we determined that we needed it to monitor for another hours After letting it monitor the operation of the unit we reviewed the results with our manufacturer’s representative The results indicated that the unit is running as designed The owner of the resident is saying that the unit is undersized We have not been able to meet with the owner We have only been able to meet with the tenant who says she is not having a problem We are required by the city mechanical code to do a manual J load calculation Before we install any equipment, we do this load calculation and on this residence our load calculation required us to put in a two-ton AC unit, which is what we installed.At this time, we would like to meet with the owners and our manufacture representative to discuss the expectations We have contacted the owners and they are not available to meet with us They have told us they will call us when they are available We will schedule a meeting with them when they contact us with their availability.Our goal is to resolve this with our customer and for them to be 100% satisfied We will wait to hear from them.Sincerely,Cheryl W [redacted] Sales ManagerB Carlson
