Decor Furniture will not be closing. The building which our current location resides in is being sold so we are moving our showroom to a new location. All layaway's will be on valid and on file. When the new local location has been chosen, current customer's will be informed. Feel free to stop by or...

The issue has been addressed with [redacted]. We have spoken directly to the repair technician who will be contacting her within the week to repair her sectional. For all the inconvenience and delay, we have offered a $[redacted] refund or store credit to the customer, whichever she prefers.

Review: I went to decor furniture and ordered a sectional in bulldozer/java with bicast chocolate and an ottoman. The furniture was paid for in full on the purchase date of 1/25/2014 was delivered over 2 months late and then when it arrived the furniture (sectional) was damaged. The Delivery man took a picture of the damage and called the store owner to report the damage. I also called the store when the furniture was delivered on April 5 to find out how and when they would fix the

chair. I was told the upholstery guy would call me to set up an appointment to survey the damage and then if the part would need to be replaced an order would be placed or he would fix it. I have called the store several times about him contacting me and they say he is backed up , I have visited the store and asked when I would be contacted and every time, they tell me he will be contacting me. No one has contacted me regarding this issue and today is May 10. 2014. The last time I called was last week and expressed my dissatisfaction and was told He would call me. I have been getting the run around and now it is going on June and the furniture order is still not completed.I've talked to numerous people and keep getting excuses. Invoice number [redacted]. I have been more than patient but with a order being 2 months late, they should've inspected it before it was delivered.This seems to be quite common with this store based on the website reviews. I am not sure of the separate purchase price of the ottoman because they combined the prices as one price on the receipt but the total price of both pieces plus delivery, assembly & removal and taxes was $1321.48 .Desired Settlement: The store can pick up the damaged sectional and replace it with a new sectional to at their cost for delivery and pickup or pick up the damaged sectional and refund my money for the sectional plus taxes.

Review: I purchased a mattress for my daughter and told them I would pick it up. A representative called me the next week on Friday, told me the mattress set with frame would be at the [redacted] location before noon on Satursday. I confirmed with her since I have other committments for the day after 1pm. I arrived with my kids to pick the mattress set up around 11:00 and stayed until 11:40 and asked serveral times as to the time of arrival. The representatives made serveral calls to the driver and they said would be there had left the [redacted] site and hour before. We were not the only ones waiting nor were we the only ones this message was given too that delivery would be before or by noon. I left with my kids and went across the street to [redacted] and ate (took about 30 minutes). We came back around 12:25 and asked again about when truck was arriving and this time was told by the representative "if I ask one more time she would call the police and have me arrest". Now during this whole interfacing I kept a low tone and was frustrated but didn't create a scene therefore this response was unjustified. I then replied to her that if that was the way she saw my response to recieving my mechise then I wanted my money back because I didn't want my money spent at this type of business. She replied "I am calling the police for you causing a distrubance and I will not give your money back". By this time it was 12:40 and had to get to my 1:00 appointment. I got the card and said I would be back and if I did not get my money back or the merchise on my return I would be calling the police. I came back around 3:00 with my kids (2-teenage boys) and my truck. The merchise was there but they refused to tie the mattress set to the top of my car nor give me any rope to tie the set down on my truck. We had to drive off with untied mattress. We went across street bought rope and tied the set down but after going 1/2 mile the set fell on [redacted] in traffic. Some other people at the bowling alley had additional rope and help us re-tie mattress set and followed us home to ensue safe trip. They are staff is bad and if we had to bring our own rope it should have been communicated up front. Because this is not what I was told initially. Just bad service and wouldn't give me my money back. Their advertisement is bad too because they are advertising going out of business. They should have offered to give free delivery or additional discount for customer inconivence.Desired Settlement: Would like a minor adjustment for bad service and apology.

We did a transfer of customer items from our [redacted] location to our [redacted] location on Saturday, 08/31/2013. Customers were called that Friday and told that we were transferring the items the next morning and all the items should be there by the afternoon and we would have a representative call them as soon as all of their items arrived. There are so many items that we normally have to make two trips and its close to a thirty minute drive one way. I was not present when [redacted] arrived for her items but I received phone calls in regards to the situation. She was very rude to employees and made everyone feel very uncomfortable. One of the customers present at the time was actually an off duty police officer for the Chesterfield Police Department and suggested that my sales associate may need to call the police. As for not tying the mattress set down, we are held liable for the mattress set if we were to tie it down and it fall off the vehicle into traffic. Overall, we ordered, received, and delivered her mattress set in the time frame she was told at the time of purchase.

We bought our kid's furniture and mattresses from Decor and our Master Bedroom furniture suite from Decor. I will be back soon to buy a new king sized mattress since my kid's queen mattress feels nicer than mine. The service was great with a very knowledgeable sales person helping us with our order. They have a lot of products available that is not shown on the showroom floor and we special ordered both suites of furniture and a bunk set. I picked up the furniture myself but delivery was available. The furniture came in over the course of 2-8 weeks and they called me everytime some of it came in so I could pick it up. An excellent experience and their prices are great.

Review: I went up to decor furniture and mattress showplace today to pay on my furniture layaway just to find out that the store was closing out I've paying on my furniture since the summer month I was very disappointed that they would not contact me letting me know they were closing outDesired Settlement: A refund
