[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Unfortunately MrLorne Browe's reply is missing much detail. He showed up to the house without any planning or discussion with me what would be done to remedy the problem. This was already addressed so not sure why he is bringing this up again.Next, he has minimized the issue by saying that it is a ft by ft area which it is not. I have not felt he has understood the problem or scope of the problem or assured me that he will do a complete area of repair. At this time I do not eve feel the remedy that he has proposed will take care of the problem due to the foundation having sink holes. He has lied to you that he has not been able to get a hold of me. I have tried in the past to get a hold of him and it has taken weeks if not months or never getting a reply. But he contacted me recently and I have not felt like talking to him in person so texted him in reply all of which I have documented. He contacted me on Dec 1st to states Mon looks good to repave. I texted back within 1/ hrs and stated that my trust level with him is low. I explained how his team showed up without my knowledge without knowing what he was going to do. I told him communication was severely lacking. I said he has underestimated the problem. I said that I did not think resurfacing the driveway would help the sink hole problem in the future. In August, I was told that one of his workers would get done the project and he did not get back to me despite calls in November. Whenever they seem ready to do something with me it is almost winter.I am still looking for my money back because I have lost all trust in MrLorne Browe. He does not speak honestly with me and the project was a failure. And the remedy proposed is a failure, it does not logically make sense that an overlay will prevent sink holes in the future.
Regards,

Phone response - We had showed up after calling to address the area once already, but he did not let us do the work. We then decided we would do a complete overlay of the driveway, but we have not been able to reach him to set the appointment. He would not return our call. At this point, we are still willing to do the complete overlay, at no charge to the customer, but it would not be able to be done until first job next spring, due to the changing weather.

Hello, The driveway installation at [redacted]'s property sank slightly in front of his garage-about a 5'x5' area.  I arrived with my crew in July 2017 to cut out the settled area and replace with a new layer of asphalt.  [redacted] told me that he did not want that done and directed us to leave....

My plan now is to resurface the entire driveway at no cost to [redacted].  I would like to complete the free resurface this week. I called [redacted] at 5:15pm on Tuesday 11/28/17  as per [redacted]'s request.  He didn't answer so I left him a message letting him know I would like to schedule the resurface.  As of today, 11/30/17 I have not heard from [redacted].  We're looking forward to resolving this issue as soon as possible.  Thank you. Sincerely, Lorne Browe President L. Browe Asphalt Services Inc.

(Please note I have been trying to submit this response for several days but the system has not allowed it.  I will try to submit today without any attachments and see if that works).Hello, We have reviewed the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted].  We installed a binder course of asphalt for...

her in 2010.  In 2015, she called and said she would like the driveway completed and we installed the top course then.  She called to complain of a crack in the driveway in 2016.  We filled the crack in 2016 at no charge.  She called one week ago and said that the crack is still there.  We called her yesterday (4/7/17) and left a message that we would like to speak with her and inspect the driveway.  The plan at this point is to fill the crack again and sealcoat the driveway at no charge.  Please see the attached photos of the driveway that were taken today (4/8/17).  The crack is halfway up the driveway and is about 1/2"-3/4" wide.  This is not unusual to have a crack occur in a driveway that is 6-7 years old (which is the date of the initial installation of binder), particularly in an area that is predisposed to cracking.  The photo of the driveway and road shows reflective cracking in the roadway and is present throughout. We will make every effort to satisfy Ms. [redacted].  Although the warranty on a binder project is only 1 year, and the warranty on a top course installation is 1 year, we would like to receive her permission to fill the crack and seal the driveway at no charge, and continue to monitor the condition of the driveway.  We look forward to your feedback and opinion on the suggested remedy.  Thank you.  UPDATE:  We left a message for Ms. [redacted] on 4/7 that we would like to meet with her to determine a date for sealcoating.  To date we have not received a call back.Very truly yours,L Browe
