They own the Dealers Trade Oulet and these guys were so nice and understanding in the beginning. They got me the truck I wanted. My first clue should have been the non negotiable down payment of $5000. Then I get the truck up to me and finally get to look at it and it has problems all over. First the drivers seat is missing it's bar underneath to adjust the seat. It was removed by a previous owner. Then the hood has been wrecked by some sort of acid spilled on it, the front grille is chipped and scratched. The side F150 is missing paint and is chipped. I thought that was all the issues but I was wrong. When I got a mechanic to look at it, he lets me know the turn signals will have to be replaced since they stick, the key sticks also and will need replacing, the emission system of the truck is not up to Pa code and will need fixing and a brand new drivers side seat will need to be installed. So I contact them and ask them for $3000 of my money back since repairs alone will cost me $3500 and they flat out refuse. Selling me a lemon, well I have an appointment with an attorney on Monday and my bank. They won't get away with lying to me. That's for sure. Revdex.com also called! DO NOT buy from here.

Review: I purchased 2008 [redacted] with 99,540 miles. The [redacted] had the engine light on, I asked about the light and salesperson put an engine code computer reader on the car to the read engine codes. He informed me that these problems usually are related to wires and plugs, and oxygen sensor, (it was later determined via an outside mechanic, that [redacted] do not have wires). At no time did he reference that he did not have the mechanical expertise to interpret these codes. He offered to repair the car for full price or to sale the car as is for a reduced price. My acceptance of the wholesales price was based on his implied knowledge about what was wrong with the car and the ease with which it could be repaired. It is also my belief that there were safety issues with the car that they failed to disclose, (poor control at speeds above 55 miles per hour, related to poor wheel balance and a nail in the rear tire, there was also no oil in the engine compartment which could lead to engine seizure or destruction). They also failed to disclose that the car had recently failed a Virginia safety inspection. When I called to speak with [redacted], it was a very one-sided conversation with the theme being You got a good deal on the car, we offered to fix it but you turned us down, case closed, goodbye. During out conversation he referenced had they fixed the car they would have done the bare minimum to get the car on the road and would not have done the premium repairs that I was paying a mechanic outside of their service department to do, (i.e. if there were two bad plugs they would not fix all four, but only the two bad ones, and that they would have used the cheap parts versus using either [redacted] parts or German parts). Had he clearly represented himself as someone who did not have the expertise to interpret the mechanical condition of an automobile I would have either had them repair the car on site or made the purchase of a more mechanically sound car elsewhere. I do accept some responsibility for purchasing the car in, as is condition, however I felt I was clearly misled about the level of work required to make this car safe for the road. I am not sure if this was intentional act on the part of the salesman or merely based on his ignorance as he typically sells jeeps, and was attempting to selling an [redacted] for which and of which he knew very little.Desired Settlement: An apology for rudeness over the phone financial assistance with the repairs of vehicle.
