I have taken my car to Meineke car care center for all of my repairs. They have rebuilt my engine. The hose came off all the coolant drained out and they took responsibilty. It has happened 2 more times recently. They claim they have flushed out the system and added new coolant. My husband went to check the water level and noticed what looked like mud on the radiator cap and on the top of the radiator. We took the car back and they have claimed to fix it again. While out riding in the car again today 03/17/18 the car started to run hot again almost overheating. We called back to Meineke and they are stating they are not responsible for the car. I have contacted the corporate office for Meineke and I only received an email stating they are sorry but nothing to fix the issue. I feel they keep doing something to the car to keep us coming back. I want them to fix the car for once and take responsibility for the issue.

Repair Fix the car how it should be fixed. I have paid money for the car while in the shop but it still has the same issue.
This accusation is so absurd. Mr *** had his car towed in 06/29/16, almost 2 years ago with a blown motor due to sealant that was later found in system hence we recommended not only another engine(used with a 90 days warranty) but also a new radiator and a thorough flush as best as we can to flush out the sealant, almost impossible to completely remove every drop of sealant due to the degree and amount.
Now fast forward 2 years later, he stopped by saying the engine has steam coming out. Upon inspection, my technician found a coolant hose came off causing coolant to leak out. Not sure how far he drove with ow or no coolant in the engine.Since Mr *** is a good customer of ours, we proceeded to replace the hose at no charge and fill the coolant level. But Kenny(Technician)brought to my attention that the coolant looks very rusty and there is a thick film of something he is not sure what it is, But he emptied the reservoir few times and clean it out best he can. Still at no charge. (this is not the first time we provided service to his vehicle at no charge, the week before we did clean and spray painted his hubs to prevent rust on his rims)
Mr *** came back few days after and was acting a scene in my waiting room, accusing us of sabotaging his vehicle. Makes no sense but to be considerate, we offered a thorough flush again. This time physically run water through his engine and cooling system for 30+ minutes. He picked up, came back 2 weeks after to get a warranty tire replaced and apologized for the confusion and his actions and promised to put that behind us. Great he left, called again few days and accusing us of causing his engine to overheat on his way to Daytona thereby missing days off work to try and correct. I told him I will gladly love to take a look at the car but do not think we are responsible for his overheating concerns and he hung up the phone.
His accusation of sabotaging his car to get more work is so baseless. First of all my employees are either salary or hourly so why would they create more work and we are a busy shop with many loyal customers not because we sabotage vehicles but instead because we do great work and very considerate. That is why Meineke Corporate will not even respond because the argument is so out. I do not think Mr *** is out to get stuff for free, he just does not understand and ill advised on something that is never did not happen, not in my shop. Why would a shop sabotage a vehicle so he can come back and spend more money, he doesn't have to bring it back to our shop, there are hundreds of there shops he can take that to so it really doesn't make any sense.
I am really glad he brought this out so an independent institution like Revdex.com will look at the facts and advise so he can best understand that what he is thinking is not possible not in a million years. Thanks your your time. Best Regards Rae T (please see attached invoice)

For a business owner to speak of one his customers in this manner is absurd. Yes the engine was rebuilt while Phil was working there and he was awesome. After the engine was rebuilt the hose came off 3 times causing the coolant to come out. We have explained the car was running hot each time but not once has it been checked to see why. I'm not out to get anything for free I just want the car fixed right. I did receive a call from meineke corporate and I am waiting for a call back. Even if Meineke is willing to help do anything I will never go back to the DeLand shop. The staff there is very unprofessional.
