We purchased tickets for the DCBX Tropical NYE celebration at the *** Hotel in downtown DC and attended the event but at midnight we had to leave because the event was so bad. We weren't even allowed to sit at the seat we had purchased for the event until 10 pm. They had a dance show where the quality of the dancers was very poor. They were bad dancers and many were very out of shape. So, instead of being able to dance on the large dance floor, for an hour we had to watch this terrible "show" they put on. Right after the show, they played offensive music that was way too loud and the base was so loud we couldn't even stay in the room. By offensive, I mean either the songs or the DJ was yelling the word "f*" or Put your f*ing hands up over and over. I like base and I like loud base but this base was so excessive that it distorted the music.
We left right after the midnight toast because we just couldn't stand it. We tried contacting the company to complain about the product they provided and to request a refund but no one answers the phone and they don't answer our emails. We are frustrated and don't know what else to do.
