DB Does It Construction

Daniel B of "DB Does It", took $1700. from me and never showed up again. I called him to finish a ceiling and blow insulation into the attic area. He lives in my area and we know many of the same people, so I trusted him to do the work. I was wrong, he is, according to many, a con man from way back. On May 31, 2018 I signed a proposal and gave him $1700. up front for supplies. He cashed the check within hours even though he wasn't to start work until Monday, June 1st. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, no show. Wednesday, Thursday, I called with no answer. Friday June 8 I finally reached him, and he had multiple excuses. He Said he would be there Monday the 11th, again a no show, Tuesday no show. I fired him via text at 8:16 pm. I am now dealing with the police in trying to retrieve my money. This is not his first offence. Do not hire this con man.
