I have 2 open support tickets and one is 2 weeks old already. I'm sick of putting up with their crap. I'm always having one issue after another with their daz studio. Now I cant even use it, it won't save my files or renders. I have spent thousands on there products. If this is how it's going to be, I want ALL of my purchases I have ever made refunded and we can terminate with each other and they will never hear from me again. OR, they can get on the phone with me and help me get this fixed.

Im sick of waiting and being ignored. And they are purposefully ignoring me. People are there. I had my friend go by their place of business in UT and their offices was full.

These people never listen to heir customers about anything. EVER! Im freaking so sick and tired of these continual issues with their products. I'm also a vet and I have severe PTSD. I have made this known to them for years now. They run a business and when I purchase something from them, we enter into a legal contract. That contract doesn't stipulate whether or not I have to be nice to anyone. I'm not going to be nice when I have issues like this. My therapist recommended their deal to help reduce my PTSD.

daz studio render problem

K, Ive watched every youtube video, searched every search term on google, and Im really seriously NOT getting WHY my spotlight isnt showing up in my render....

It shows up when I make an empty scene and place a prim to shine on. Why then as soon as I merge this into my scene Im working on the spot light never shows up?

Its stopped working. I cant save anything anymore. It gives me an error and says could not save render.

Now WTF?

They have offered help. Im going to get to them what they asked, my time is short because of issues regarding my father who I take care of. He has dementia and cancer and we are right in the middle of some major issues with him. As soon as I have some free time Im going to get a video of all the issue with daz studio running and send it to them.

I bought several things on discount. electronically.

when I saw my bank statement I found that i'd been overcharged over a 100 dollars.
all the discounts disappeared after I completed the purchase.

there was no indication I was being charged more than the total shown on the cart page.

it's taking a long time for a response, or any indication they are refunding the over charge

This is Emmalee with Daz 3D. We apologize for this overcharge. We see that a refund request was sent in on Friday, November 1, 2019 in ticket #***. One of our agents sent this refund request on for review and was awaiting authorization. Unfortunately, we are not in on weekends and did not hear back on this until today. Here is our response from Friday, November 1, 2019:

"Thank you for your feedback. I have submitted your request and it is undergoing review and awaiting authorization. This process may take up to 36 to 48 business hours. Please let me know if you have any additional questions."

This refund request was approved today and you should see this appear in your account with 24-48 hours (depending on your bank's policies.) If you do not see this refund appear in your account, please let us know.

would like to add, the business is aware of their cart glitches, which randomly overcharges customers in hundreds of dollars, and seems to not make the necessary changes to prevent such overcharges from happening again and again

over charging in their online cart purchasing is an issue they haven't addressed

gave me no indication of the actual amount I was being charged.

there are a few complaints with the same issue,
over charging by the amounts are a severe inconvenience to customers who may not be able to afford those charges. particularly on rent day

the fact that it continues to happen should be investigated, if the company has truly made any effort to stop this abuse on customers.

I purchased a cart of their digital products and took screenshots. When the charge went through PayPal, the amount charged was more than the correct amount, I contacted their Customer Service several times and just got a rude form letter saying that if I posted any problems in their forums, it would be deleted.

Originally I just asked for the price difference back but got no response, Then I decided I wanted to return the entire order with money going back to my PayPal, not their store credit, I threatened twice to report them here if I got no response, so finally am,

They have terrible business practices and their prices change constantly, often within minutes, changing every time you refresh your screen.Their customer service is awful and slow and I’ve had to contact them multiple times and finally am just fed up. The fact that they overcharged me could cause an automatic payment coming through to bounce, They’re business practice is unethical if not criminal.

emailed us ***Thursday 04/18/2019 at 10:03 our listed time frame to respond to tickets is within 1-2 business days. That would mean we would have until today Monday 04/22/2019, which we did, in ticket #***.

This is a common issue if a customer places an order just after the sale expires, we will always honor the sale difference. We did plan to and did respond before we saw this Revdex.com notice.

Good Day
I joined an online program call DAZ 3D, it’s a program where you can do art in 3D and save to your PC.
I have been with them for 3 to 4 months and join there Platinum Club Plus had no problems. Last week, 22 May 2018 the program starts to lose the products I bought to do the designs on my Laptop.
I contacted the techs and they gave me the run round on what to do,and they made it worst, then program started to shut down on me.
This tech gave me instruction on a hidden file in my laptop, and what to do to it.

Hi ***,

When installing Daz Studio and PostgreSQL, did you install as administrator? This could be the issue. We advise you never do this.

The web department has suggested that you uninstall Daz Studio and the PostgreSQL. Then
go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\cms and rename or remove the ContentCluster folder and the cmscfg.json file located there.

If you cannot see your AppData folder, type %appdata% in the Start menu and Windows will open the hidden folder.

Once you have done that, reinstall first Daz Studio and then the PostgreSQL CMS (make sure you are not installing as Administrator). Then open Daz Studio and re-import metadata, with the box checked that userdata overwrites product data.
To do this, right click on the Content Library pane, choose Content DB Maintenance, tick Re-Import Metadata, click Accept. Tick User Data and All Products and click Accept.

When I did these instructions and they never said anything about signing in as an administrator, because it does not come up when your downloading the program, after I did this all my product started to delete themselves from the DAZ 3D program to were I could not use them at all then the program locked me out. I had over 698 products (programs) I bought for a total of $1915.47.
I told them of the problem and the bug they implanted in my laptop,and the damage it did and all I got from another tech was.

As stated before, if there was a virus in the system, we would have caught it and we would have received more than one report. IF it listed any Daz Studio related file, it would be a false positive.

Your latest screenshots show "Exploit.CVE-2017-3036.Gen". This is not a Daz Studio, Daz Install Manager, or PostgreSQL CMS file. I am not sure what application this file is associated with.

I have not heard anything else from them.
I bought Viper and installed it on my laptop and I scanned their program DAZ 3D and it quarantine the above virus. I went into their forum were everyone exchanges problems and way to fix them and found several other customer with the same problem I have. They got locked out of their program and the techs would not answer them. One person is going on two weeks with no answer.
Can you please look into this and see if it can be corrected? All I want to do is get back on and be able to design my projects.

I apologize if there is any confusion. However, this warning you see on your end is NOT from or have anything to do with Daz. As Emmalee (the agent assisting you currently) has stated, if there is a virus in our system, we certainly would catch that (as we have done every other time this has ever happened) and we receive dozens of reports when that has occurred. We have NO other reports at this time. And we have looked into this, and it has been confirmed that this is not from our end. IF it listed any Daz Studio related files, it would be a false positive. The screen shot and information provided, shows that what you have received IS a false positive. It is not accurate. You will need to contact Vipre for support when their software does this.

To confirm, the file is not infected. However, If you would like a refund within 30 days of purchase, let us know.

Hello Britney
This problem started be for I put Vipre into my laptop, I put Vipre in, to stop the hits that was damaging my laptop. My G card dose not operate with your rendering now cause of it. If you don’t have a virus in your program, then why do you have a hidden file in my laptop? My big problems started when Jamie told me to delete that file. I was not born yesterday, to see what that file did to the rest of the program. Right now I was able to get back in and 3 quarters of the product dose not work properly nor do they have the function they had when I first started DAZ 3D. So what ever Jamie had me delete started the hole problem this time. Your tech provided some help at the beginning, but after it shut down their was nothing, because they new what was happening. If Vipre was the problem, then it would have stop your DAZ 3D right when I installed it. The only time I did get something is when I scan your program with Vipre and it quarantine a virus it found. Now answer me this, why would a tech tell some one not to put a cleaner in there laptop. Your tech offer no help since I got lock out. They didn’t even try too.

This is NOT a standard response. We have listed record of our Agent specifically stating things for you not to do, that you did do. We also refunded you the last 30 days as you requested. There was NO virus and that was confirmed. We did tell you how to potentially get past this issue and you did not follow the listed instruction. Please see your tickets.
