I went to Daytona car wash on Wednesday August 14 to use the car wash and it broke while I was using it leaving me with a soapy mess and lost my money
I entered the west car wash at Daytona car wash on Wednesday August 14 2019. I paid 16.00 for the deluxe wash and proceeded to enter the west car wash. As it was washing my car it stopped and malfunctioned leaving my car soapy. I exited the wash had tried ringing the bell for assistance but no one answered. I tried calling the phone number and sending an email and no one responded. The only option I had was to buy another car wash this time from the east car wash and spent another 12.00. That side worked. I still would like to know why there is no one working there and why they would leave a broken car wash without a sign. Customers are left on their own clueless. ***. They need someone present at all times at this business. A car wash can pose serious risks to customers if left unattended. This is an accident waiting to happen. Safety should be the number one key of any good business.
I spent a total of 28.00. 16 for the deluxe and 12 for the basic wash. I would like my money back plus 5 free washes. That would be excellent customer service. And under the circumstances would be very appropriate given the situation.
I visited Daytona Car Wash twice over the last month. They charged my credit card four times. I spoke with the owner who told me to go ahead and dispute the credit card charges with my credit card company. He was not willing to reverse the charges or offer any sort of refund - he wasn't interested in resolving the issue with me at all.
This is my second disappointing experience with this company. I am very alarmed however with their lack of concern or care regarding the possible *** charges arising from their place of business.
I reached out to my credit card company which opened a*** investigation and refunded my money. My credit card will be replaced.
Thursday March 09 2018 @5:53am I wanted to take my car through the above mentioned car wash / address . The first credit card transaction for $13.00 was cancelled , I have the receipt showing in capital letters "Transaction Not Completed" . I tried again choosing the $11.00 wash & the payment went through , I still have the receipt . Monday of this week I checked my credit card statement and I saw 2 Daytona Car Wash transactions on the same day for $13.00 each . I went to the owner to discuss the situation & resolve it . His immediate answer was " You must have used our services between July 2017 & now , you used your credit card, you got a receipt BUT the payment was never credited to store's account . And now they "his credit card co." are caught with it .And that his out/lost $50,000.00 . I didn't know how to handle the situation , so I left confused '? I would appreciate your help .
