Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They at no time after I check in after at night contact me about the other roomsOnly when I got their they told me bout the rooms and I told them some of the girls are on their way to get the roomsAs a person I got ready for bed but at no time during then did they contact me or paged the room I was in bout their been two rooms left overOn the other hand my card been charged is not correct because when I called their 1-number to book the rooms the lady on the line told me specifically that my card would not get charged at anytime is just for securing the roomsShe specifically told me that so thats the only reason I put my card on file if not I would've not done itExpecially because situations like this and I didnt have any funds in this account only once a month deposit Regards, [redacted]
This is in reference to the complaint from [redacted], complaint ID# [redacted] had reserved several rooms at our motel and guaranteed them with her credit card. We called her to follow up on the number of rooms she needed . At that time she canceled some of the rooms. We called a...
2nd time to follow up and she then canceled some more rooms. After everyone had checked in that night on 4/7/17, there were still 2 rooms left. [redacted] was called and asked several times if she was going to need those 2 rooms. She said to keep holding the 2 rooms. We never got a response to cancel and no one ever checked in those 2 rooms. Our policy is that if your plans change and you are unable to keep your reservation, you are to call and inform us so we can cancel them and not be charged. If you fail to cancel a guaranteed reservation, the motel is allowed to bill the credit card on file for the 1st night charge for each room not canceled. The 2 rooms in question were never canceled so they were put as a no show and charged for a 1 night stay. The guest was not given the run around about the manager not being here. He is not always here at the motel. The policy was explained to her about not canceling the reservations and that her card would be charged. The reason her card was charged and not the other guest is because the reservations were in her name and her card was holding the rooms. It was not a matter of not getting the rooms right, it was a matter of her not canceling the reservations. If the person that [redacted] spoke to was rude in anyway please accept my apology. As a normal person I got ready for bed but at no time during then did they contact me or paged the room I was in bout their been two rooms left over. On the other hand my card been charged is not correct because when I called their 1-800 number to book the rooms the lady on the line told me specifically that my card would not get charged at anytime is just for securing the rooms. She specifically told me that so thats the only reason I put my card on file if not I would've not done it.
