I wish that I had read the reviews for this hotel before reserving rooms in this hotelMy family and I stayed at Days Inn for a few days in October It was a very bad experience: We arrived in Louisburg earlier than anticipated after traveling all night from Pennsylvania and needed to check in early, and was charged an extra $per roomWe had rooms reserved: My bathroom shower curtain had stains, there was dirt and mold around the outside of the bathtubThe refrigerator was dirtyThe ice bucket was filthyHousekeeping did not empty the trash basket in our rooms, so trash was piling upThe front doors of the hotel was not locked, so anyone could walk right in the hotel late at nightIt wasn't a safe placeThe second floor hallway smelled of smokeThere was no elevator, so we had to carry all of our suitcases and bags up the stepsOne family member has a problem with her legs, so it would have helped if there was an elevatorThe fitness room had an odor and machine did not workThe hotel manager, Mr [redacted] was very rudeHe watched everything we did and came over to complainOne morning during breakfast, I was at the counter preparing my meal, spreading butter on my waffles, I guess I took too long at the counter!! ...The manager came over to tell me that I shouldn't stay a long time at the counter and for me to take my food to the tableThere weren't a lot of people waiting to get their breakfast, so, what was the PROBLEM? I felt so humiliated and uncomfortableI will never stay at this hotel again! I will tell other family members and friends to avoid this hotel at all costs.........;
I wish that I had read the reviews for this hotel before reserving rooms in this hotel. My family and I stayed at Days Inn for a few days in October 2015. It was a very bad experience: We arrived in Louisburg earlier than anticipated after traveling all night from Pennsylvania and needed to check in early, and was charged an extra $25 per room. We had 3 rooms reserved: My bathroom shower curtain had stains, there was dirt and mold around the outside of the bathtub. The refrigerator was dirty. The ice bucket was filthy. Housekeeping did not empty the trash basket in our rooms, so trash was piling up. The front doors of the hotel was not locked, so anyone could walk right in the hotel late at night. It wasn't a safe place. The second floor hallway smelled of smoke. There was no elevator, so we had to carry all of our suitcases and bags up the steps. One family member has a problem with her legs, so it would have helped if there was an elevator. The fitness room had an odor and 1 machine did not work. The hotel manager, Mr. [redacted] was very rude. He watched everything we did and came over to complain. One morning during breakfast, I was at the counter preparing my meal, spreading butter on my waffles, I guess I took too long at the counter!! ...The manager came over to tell me that I shouldn't stay a long time at the counter and for me to take my food to the table.
