Overcharged $723.60 by hotel and am being told it will take up to 10 business days to return to my account. I was asked for an authorization code one day and the next told something else which isn't consistent information. This is the third Days Inn property in which billing issue has occurred. Washer/dryer worked properly the first time I used it. A maintenance was present during this time and since then the spin cycle on the washer has not completed. Front desk has been notified and I have been reimbursed, but the issue needs to be repaired. Rotten milk during the first week. Strange activity with people walking outside my hotel room and knocking on my door. The hot el is also telling me they do not have conditioner for my hair. Syrup bottles at the breakfast bar have had labels peeled off of them and are being reused.
The amount of $723.60 was released to the guest as soon as she brought it to our notice. Our *** recorded two transactions of $723.60 and our Days Inn Portal which is *** showed only 1 transaction of $723.60. I released the funds right away and she should be able to access them now. I also told her that if her bank requires our authorization, she can contact us directly and we can confirm that we released the funds.
We purchased a brand new dryer for our Guest Laundry services and we ran a cycle to understand her complaint and the dryer is in perfect condition. We still reimbursed her money 3 times understanding she might have had a problem out of courtesy. Our front desk manager's name is Sanjiv D and he goes by Sam so that it is easy for the people to communicate with him who cannot pronounce his name properly.

As of 1:48 this morning, the money still has not been refunded to my account. Today is the sevemth day since processing on the third. They did not release the finds when first told, in fact, it took a minimum of four to five conversations.

Please see the receipt attached. The guest was only charged once in the amount of $723.60 dated 12/28/2017. As I mentioned previously, somehow her card was charged twice and I looked it up on our Merchant services *** and she was indeed charged twice on her card. I reversed the transaction and also provided her with a receipt of that reversal. I advised her that the funds will take 7-10 business days to go back to the account. If she wants to escalate that, she would have to call her bank get the authorization removal department to get the funds faster to them. When I was explaining this to her, she agreed she will do it but we never heard back from her.
