The tire were mounted and balanced on 5/11/2016, at the time they were done my Employee Jason *** noticed that the wheel was cracked, and relayed the information the the customerWhen the customer brought the tire back in, I dismounted the tire to inspect it, and the bead tore when we dismounted
itThe bubble on the sidewall was cause from a broken belt, and we've witnessed it a times, there is a terrible rode in the area with a lot of potholes, causing these problemsWe didnt blame her for hitting the potholes, we stated that this was a very likely causeSo this problem existed within a 1/month span( she said she didnt drive the truck during that time, I'm not saying I don't believe her, but I can't warranty a mounting job that long.) so I did offer to pay for half of the tire( in which we didn't half to, there is no written warranty on the tires, especially a off-road tire.) It is a cooper tire and cooper don't offer a road hazard either, I told them they could have sent it back to cooper, but when my rep looked at it he said it wouldn't be worth it, because of were the damaged was causedI am sorry I couldn't pay for the whole tire, but I thought I was fair to pay for half(out of my pocket) when there was visible damage to the wheel.
