I had my kitchen remodeled in October 2017. I have had issues with the work done and made Epic Contractors aware of the problems. I have ice that comes in through an outlet, countertops that were not glued down correctly, unlevel floors, holes left behind countertop, and cold draft coming in under cabinets. Epic was contacted in February to come address the issues. After a contractor was out 7 times without fixing problems they had a different contractor come through who looked at the problems but did not fix them. *** Nick then came out May 3 to look at the issues and I was told someone would be out to fix the problems we were having. He removed a piece of white trim along the countertops to see the hole that runs along them and said the business would put up a backsplash at their expense. I still have a hole that runs along my counters that now looks unfinished at. I have e-mailed, called, and texted and have not received any notification back of when someone will come do the rest of the work on my house. I attempted to contact them February 12, May 3, May 24, May 30, June 11, June 18, June 20, June 21, June 25, June 26, July 6, July 10, July 11, July 13, and July 25.
EPIC received 2/3 of the total contract payment for a cabin remodel that started in mid-November 2017 and was to be completed by 12/31/17. They did not purchase the agreed to materials even though they confirmed they had numerous times via email and voice mail. EPIC (owner Nick ***) has not completed the roof, electrical, plumbing, paint, exterior siding, interior 3-season porch or new bathroom. They have not paid the electrical sub-contractor and others. They are now in breach of contract and have let the job site. Every room inside the cabin is uninhabitable and the outside is strewn with construction debris. I have contacted EPIC by phone and email countless times (100+) since 2017 to get a project status and keep things moving. They would respond with excuses, ensure me that the materials were ordered, and promised a completion by April 1 and then May 1, 2018. They have been dishonest throughout the engagement and have also caused some damage to the property.
