About September 10 I began pressing for an install date. At first he replied in about 2 weeks then after many attemps no relpy. Certified Letter sent 1/28/2020 but he did not sign.I did have and installer do the job in less than an hr at my location. I was out of pocket $320.25 and $6.95 for certified letter. .

was doing this job for a body shop. went to install stainless in gasket and it was bent and twister and would not install properly. told shop I would take it to my garage and try to repair it but it would take time. did this cause customer did not want to buy new. told them I was very busy and worked on old restoration jobs when I had time but my everyday driver vehicles were first. put many hours repairing the stainless to make it work then they message me they were buying new and having someone else install it so if they want their parts back they have to pay for labor and pick them up. im sorry but I dont work for free. usually stainless has to be sent out for repair and takes time and is expensive but I repaired it.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I said I would buy new as strip right away and he said he would rather use original strip. He did tell me it would be about a 2 week delay but not months. My money is as good as daily drivers and a windshield missing from a truck is not a good thing.
