I am rejecting this response because:
yes...
they tried to resumit the bill and yes the insurance company turned them down. Here is a number to contact me I work 4:30 pm till 3:00 am ###-###-####. The problem is I was told that my insurance PAID for eye exam once a year. I cant help they put the wrong code down. Thst is why I called first to make sure my insurance covered it. If they would have not taken my insurance I would have gone some place else. And it you are tearting/watching somebody for a problem would you not give them meds/eye drops and have them come back. They did none of that

Review: Before I went to this Dr for my eye exam I called to make sure they took my insurance. I was told by a [redacted] that my eye exam was FREE. I had my appointment on 12/9/2013. When exam was done even the Dr. told the person there was NO CHARGE for my exam. About a week later I notice on my insurance page that my exam was not paid for. I called the insurance company and they said the Dr. put down he was treating me for a condition(no idea what)I call the Dr. and was told it was a condition (forget what it was) and that made it a precedure instead of a exam. That is why my insurance dod not pay for it. At NO time during the exam did the Dr. tell mr about a problem or that my exam was not going to be covered under my insurance. The funny this if it is a condition I got no meds or was told to return for a follow up visit.I will/am not paying for this bill. I also plan to cntact the PA State insurance Commissioner and file a action since they tried to get paid a second time from insurance companyDesired Settlement: That my bill has a zero balance and that my records are sent to me I will never go back
