Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] We definitely want our $100.00 check sent back to us for overpayment. Obviously since Bomanite had their money, they saw no reason to return our phone call(s) to address our concerns. Bomanite's answer to the Revdex.com is the first and only communication we have received regarding this issue. We fully comprehend the necessity for saw cuts. That is not the issue here. Chad, who was supposed to place the saw cuts was being utilized elsewhere; they sent Adam.  When Chad arrived the next day to do the antiquing and sealing, we showed him the saw cut that we were unhappy with. He stated that he would not have placed it there, he would have put it further down on the radius. That would have been much more aesthetically pleasing.  It's the placement of the saw cut that we are most dissatisfied with. It ruined a beautiful job. Chad also stated that Adam did not put enough saw cuts in and had to put more in himself.  Obviously, this was not Adam's field of expertise, regardless of how long he has been employed at Bomanite. While Nick, the owner, came out to see the issue, he never spoke one word about it to us. As I mentioned in my initial  complaint, we called Bomanite to let them know we were not happy with the cut that very day. We were told Nick would be giving us a call. Three and a half weeks have gone by, and we have not heard a word from them. We did not want this saw cut filled with caulk. That was never going to be acceptable to us.  We never got a chance to speak to Nick about what else could be done. He didn't return our calls.
We did not pay  $3,200 for a sidewalk that looks like there's a huge crack across the very front of it.  We have since had other stamped concrete contractors check this job out and we were told that this error is not correctable and we should seek monetary compensation for their error in the amount of $500. Most upsetting of all is the fact that this company gave absolutely no customer service. They're right there to take 35% up front before even starting a job, but when a mistake is made, you cannot get anyone to speak with you to address it. Bomanite told us the initial deposit was $4,600. I don't know why they're complaining about the initial deposit amount. That has absolutely nothing to do with an incorrect placement of a saw cut. That's money they demanded before they even did any work at all. They were overpaid by $100 by the time the sidewalk was completed.  So while we appreciate our overpayment of $100.00 being returned (finally), we are most dissatisfied with the end result of the job they did. That is the reason we are seeking monetary compensation for their error. It cannot be corrected, and therefore does not warrant the $3,200 they were paid.

I'm a bit confused as to why Bomanite send the check to you . Please forward my  $500.00 asap. According to their response to you, they sent the check to you?  It was a bit difficult to read as it was sent to us upside down. Please confirm receipt of this message and when you are forwarding my check.  Many thanks for your assistance in this matter.  To date, we have never heard back from Bomanite, only through the Revdex.com. So if it wasn't for the Revdex.com, nothing would have been done. Thank you so very much.
