Danny Ross Construction and Cabinetry

Contractor was hired to complete a 45 day project that has turned into 6 months and the project is still not complete.Contract signed April 9, 2013 with a $3000 down payment and $5000 due as needed for materials with the guarantee that the project would be completed in 45 days. Contractor has avoided phone contact after missing deadline. Has made several promises to complete the work but has failed to do so. Would like work completed immediately before being forced to take legal action. Desired SettlementFor the work to be completed immediately.

Danny Ross was contracted to remodel my home almost a year ago. He did the demolition work but didn't fix my home & he won't show up or call anymore.Danny Ross took 2 vehicles as collateral (and that he was purchasing with his services) for the work to be completed in my home and he took almost $3,000 in cash and equipment that was supposed to be used to buy materials to make the kitchen cabinets. Danny destroyed my kitchen the week before Christmas when I left him and his workers in my home to run errands. They were installing some flooring when I left and I came back a few hours later to find I no longer had a kitchen!! I was livid!! I still do not have a completed kitchen and it is now 9 months later and I have small children. My entire home is in shambles because of his company and he will not return a call or text any longer. Danny will not return my vehicles nor my money and I have requested him to many times. I was told the last time I spoke with him regarding my home that he would have my house completed by the end of August. He never showed up once after that call to do any work and now won't even answer the phone when I call. My family has been going throught his for many months with Mr. Ross and his lies about when he would show up and then never would. I purchased about $15K dollars or so in appliances and materials that he was to use to complete the remodel. All I have are bills from this and the product all over my home. My home is a true construction zone and it is very hard to live there because of this mess. Danny Ross did very little work in my home (mainly demolition work) and the little work that he did complete on the flooring has to be pulled up because his workers did not lay most of the flooring right. His workers also messed up the electrical in my home and wasted a ton of the flooring bought because they didn't know what they were doing. That in itself was over $3,000. Now I am going to have to pay another contractor and buy more materials to do the work that he was originally supposed to do and to fix what his workers messed up and make it right. Desired SettlementI want Danny to either refund me the money and return my vehicles in good condition or complete the work that he was supposed to do on the house. He supposedly built cabinets for my kitchen that I have paid for and I would like to have those installed in my home.

He demolished the kitchen, patched up some sheetrock, and put down 3/4 of floor and was supposed to put cabinets in on July 21. He said he was working on teh cabinets at [redacted] workshop on [redacted] said [redacted] never came there to work on cabinets. He told me on the phone that he was loading them on the truck. That was the last time I talked with him. He was a no show. I tried to contact him repeatedly via phone and text and he did not respond. When he finally did, he said via text he would have a check for me on Aug 3. No check was delivered and no contact was made. I have texted and called him repeatedly with no response. I have had to get another contractor to finish the job.Desired SettlementI want my money back. I am willing to pay him $2000 for the work completed but I need $7200 back.
