My daughter had been attending dance lessons at this studio, and during the COVID situation the academy had stopped lessons. They have now restarted lessons and I do not feel safe sending my daughter anymore. I am also concerned that they may be breaking the law by not adhering to the statewide COVID restrictions currently in place. After multiple attempts the company has been unwilling to provide a refund for dance lessons that we're not ever received.
We have always had a no refund policy, however we have ways offered credits. Because if Covid-19, we offered this customer an opportunity to have her daughter come back to dance whenever felt safe to do so. She did not want to send her on May when dance studios were allowed to open according to Utah.gov guidelines, so we offered a free month next season. She did not want this option. We have not had any customers unwilling to either come to class or start again on the fall with a free month. We strive to provide the best dance experience for all of our customers. We have not had any issues with this client and her daughter had always cone to dance happily. We love this dancer and are willing to provide the chance to come back whenever the latent feels safe to do so.
When this patent registered for this class she had to agree to the terms provided in the attachment. We also post them in our studio as a reminder.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: As I stated with my original complaint, I believe the only right and acceptable course of action is to refund the $60, thanks.
Sincerely
If I as a customer choose to shop at a store that does not give cash refunds but only in store credit, with signs and policies clearly in place, I have to accept those terms.
We understand these times can be un-certain and we are doing all in our power to provide excellent service to our customers. We are going above and beyond in health and safety guidelines as well as issuing credits to customers who would like to return when they feel safe to do so.
As a small business we wish you the best.
