[redacted] aka "[redacted]" did major construction to Bethesda home including installation of Certainteed Premium Siding. Defects in the initial installation were identified, including issues with fastening, spacing, and improper hanging of vertical siding , resulting in the need to replace siding in February 2009, which was authorized and paid by Certainteed.[redacted] performed the replacement.In 2011, new buckling and waviness was identified in the siding; inspection by Certainteed supervisor revealed that siding was again improperly installed, i.e. "the problems...are the result of the application techniques used to install the material...installation of the material is the responsibility of the contractor who applied the material".[redacted] has twice improperly installed the siding, which now must be replaced.
