The mechanic stripped a lug nut on my front passenger *** and loosened my sway bar.
The mechanic arrived with no tools for the job, I had to provide him with a four-way just for him to attempt to remove the tire which he could not do and he stripped the lug nut and blamed it on the tire iron. He was completely incompetent in repair and loosened the sway bar as I insisted he was tightening the wrong way, however, he wouldn't listen and now my steering is completely loose and has endangered my life with this repair. The mechanic didn't have the tools for the repair due to his claim of being robbed the day before so he asked me to CashApp him the money to pay for the part at the nearest O'Reilly's. The original repair was for a Idler Arm but now in
order to rectify his mistake I will have to take this car to a dealership which will undoubtedly charge an absurd amount. I was quoted that this repair would last 1 hour but instead it took 4 hours due to the unprofessionalism of this mechanic and the companies business practices. My steering wheel is facing the wrong way now as a result of the shotty work of this mechanic. The company has no system setup for payment or reciepts, instead the mechanics use CashApp for their payment method.
I would like a complete refund for my horrible experience.
I used the mobile mechanic service to diagnose and fix a problem on my vehicle, the mechanic came, demanded money up front, and won't answer my calls
The mechanic came to my house and took apart my car taking about two hours, he then said he had to leave but he demanded all the money upfront to come back tomorrow, and then he did not return. I called him and his company and they kept saying they would come later on that day. This happened about eight times. Now they have all blocked my number and won't return my calls.
I would like my car to be finished.
The mechanic that came and worked on my car forgot to bolt in brake pads. Kwik kar has detailed proof. I would like a refund for the service I paidfor
I called the business owner Al as of yesterday 04/13/2020 about a refund on my Kia Rio 2016. On 01/10/2020 I had one of the mechanics come and check out my car and replace the rear brake pads. I bought the brake pads and they did the service. It went fine, so I thought. Currently I went to Kwik kar about a rattling sound I heard from my car. They informed me that the mechanic I went to forgot to screw any bolts in to secure the brakes. (I have documents from the mechanic and pictures). Kwik line proceeded to replace the front brake pads which hadn't been replaced by anyone as well as the rotor. I called Al about this and he tried to lie and say that they didn't do my rear brake pads and that they had only worked on the front brake pads. I informed him that this was wrong and that I had proof thru Kwik kar lube who just replaced my front brake pads and knew that no one had worked on the front brake pads for a very long time. The brake pads on the rear were new because I had just bought them in January and those were the ones that Dallas mobile mechanics replaced. He told me he would need 24 hours to investigate the issue even though I gave him all the proof he needed for a refund. I proceeded to wait and now he will not answer my calls as well as those from my father.
Refund of the amount paid for service
Company fails to respond on commitment on warranty on a auto service repair that was paid in full however not complete as the vehicle is not drivable
Friday feb 31st company responded to my online service request to send mobile mechanic to replace waterpump on my 2013 Audi A4. I recieved quote online and confirmed both online on in person on the agreed service repair and rate. After several hours mechanic Will (Darrell *** realizer he diagnosed the repair incorrectly and did not have the appropriate parts to effectively replace waterpump. After attempting to self resource w "other" O-rings the repair failed. Will had been paid in full as I didn't test drive the vehicle until he had left. Upon returning home I called and texted Will that the coolant was leaking again. Our text message records show he believed me and agreed to return to fix the job. I sent him photos and videos of the car still leaking coolant from the waterwate he attempted to install. Bear in mind I purchased the parts that I was advised to have. It was not until after doing the repair when he acknowledged that new O-rings are actually required. His expertise as he claims 20yrs as mechanic, would lead to tell me he should have known these new O-rings were indeed necessary. In my several attempts to call the company and Will, thier avoidance has been noticed. From not taking my calls and avoiding to commit "when" either Will or anyone else would be available to return to fix a job that Will never complete. I am a loss of $510 cash paid to will, they have refused to give me a receipt nor commit when the repair can be done. Not to mention their commitment they claim to offer their customers of warrant up to 12months or 12,000 miles. Warranty is worthless if the folks behind it are scammers.
Either refund of $510 in cash or they can apply that money in full value to a local auto repair of my choosing to credit towards this new service center performing the repairs. I do not trust Dallas Mobile Mechanics, nor will recommend to others. I will be sharing my experience via social media to warn others from being scammed
Car is not working
I spent $1,439.05 on my 2004 Saturn Vue in August 2019. It is no longer working. I have had two different people tell me it may be the clutch or transmission, both of which I paid to have fixed in August 2019. Therefore, I reached out Dallas Mobile Mechanics via text January 28, 2020 to inform them that someone needed to come check out my car. I received a response on January 29, 2020 stating that someone would be out to my house February 2,2020. No one showed! I have made several attempts after that with no luck of receiving a returned call from this company. I am tired of getting the cold shoulder. I am providing a copy of the cash app payments that were made for the repairs to my car as well as a log of the attempts to call them.
I am only able to upload one document through your upload, I actually have two more documents which shows proof of payment, that I am willing to prove along with text messages of them scheduling someone to come out but they never did.
Al, the owner, has failed to send a mechanic to correct the issue the mechanic caused.
The mechanic was to replace 2 front control arms but damaged another part. We purshased the damaged part so the mechanic could instal it. When the repair was completed we tried a test drive and heard the front wheels make a scubbing sound and noticed the car was leaking a fluid. The car had no leaks prior to the mechanics repair. We notified the Al who stated he would contact us the next morning by 9am. He did not call. We contacted Al the next day. He was rude and short and stated he would send someone between 3pm and 4pm. At 4:15 we recieved a call from Matthew stating he was on his way. At 5pm, we made attempts to call Matthew but he would not answer our calls. I contacted all who once again was short with me to the point of yelling. He stated he would call me back. I never received the call. After spending $280 for labor, $100 CV shaft and seal, and $25 for oil that was not needed, the car is leaking and inoperable due to the scrubbing on the front wheel.
The mechanic installed the 2 front control arms but caused damage during the repair. However, the car is now inoperable due to the mechanics work. A refund of the cost of the parts we had to purchase as well as 50% of the labor. The negligence of the mechanic and the owners failure to make the issue right has created a transportation issue for my household....the customer.
My husband and I are so impressed. My mechanic of 17 years has been grossly overcharging and apparently not doing things that I was paying for. I switched to Dallas Mobile Mechanics and can't speak highly enough of the professional and honest service. Great communication, they keep records and photos of what is being done and stick to the quote, no matter what. Every mechanic is knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They explain exactly what they are doing and why. Never again will I use anyone else.
Butch from Dallas Mobile Mechanics replaced my alternator on my 2015 Cadillac ATS quickly and the price was reasonable, Butch and the owner Al were very polite and professional so I will be using them again
Auto repair warranty not fulfilled; asking for $200 refund
I have a van that required power steering work and came across this company. In the beginning, and throughout the work, Mr. was responsive.
However, after spending $200, the work is not satisfactory and to make a long story short, Mr. has ignored multiple emails to have shoddy work resolved, using a different mechanic, or to return the $200 spent. In addition, the mechanic left grease all over the interior door, including on fabric, as well as on multiple surfaces of the exterior.
Mr. Will has been sent multiple emails since 6/4 regarding this matter and has chosen not to respond. At this point I will have to take the van to another mechanic to have the work checked and resolved. Not sure if the grease will come out of the fabric. I will be taking additional action against Mr. to ensure others are not negatively impacted by his practices.
Be warned regarding this company and it's proprietor. The work is shoddy and the warranty is useless.
Compel firm to refund $200
This is the worst mobile company that I have ever dealt with. We called the company on 12/21/18 and they told us a mechanic would be arriving at 12 noon the mechanic didn't arrive until 3p.m. The mechanic had to go get parts when he arrived which was fine, he arrived back to our house around 8p.m to put the power steering pump on our car he finished around 12:30a.m. Saturday night on 12/22/18 we got ready to leave for a Christmas party we notice we did not have any breaks and the steering wheel was disconnected. We contacted the company on Sunday 12/23/18 all day long and they finally answered and stated that they would send the driver back out later on that day. We call the company later Sunday 12/23/18 and no one would return our calls or our text messages, later on that night the manager Al contacted us back by text message stating that his mechanic told him would not come back out until 12/26/18. On 12/26/18 we contacted the company again and Al stated he would send the mechanic back out to finish the job, of course no one ever answered or showed up again. We contacted the company again on 12/27/18 and Al stated that the mechanic would come back around noon. It is now 2:39p.m. on 12/27/18 and the mechanic still have not arrived. Al contacted us later on that day which was 12/27/18 and stated his mechanic is not available until Sat. 12/29/18 when all along he has been lying to us and giving us the run around stating he's sending his mechanic back out when all along he knew he was off until Sat. 12/2918. This is the worst customer service that I have ever received from any company. I would not recommend them the anyone with all the run around and lies that they give you. I would appreciate if someone professional from this company would contact us back regarding this issue. Thank you
Product_Or_Service: Power steering hose
Repair I would like for this company have their mechanic to come back out in a timely manner as they stated in the beginning and connect the brake line back and connect the steering wheel back which was not a problem until he repaired our car.
