Amazing customer service! Everyone at this company truly cares about the customer and the outcome! We absolutely love our new roof! WE couldn't be happier and are so glad that we chose to go with DAC!
Thank You! We appreciate your business and glad you love your new metal roof!
I called DAC Roofing based on a recommendation of a trusted military friend. At every step of the process, DAC accomplished the job professionally, with a Can Do attitude, of selfless service people. My wife and I needed a quality roof job, but got much more than that; A family oriented business of caring people. While at my house 3 brothers, and Jorge and Gordo, and 2 sisters served in a manner that I am thankful for.

I called DAC for a free estimate on pricing my roof out as well as other companies. DAC was the only contractor who was competitive and fair. Real professional and answered all questions with no hesitation. The crew was fast and spot on. They went above and beyond and we love our new roof. Wouldn't recommend any other company but DAC. Thank you DAC!
Outstanding Job!!! Doug is very professional and caring about his customers. He did a full roof for me which had some wood rot that had to be replaced. Thankful he is honest and cared enough to come to me with the recommendation for the wood rot replacement. If you want quality work at a great price use DAC.
My roof was replaced for insurance purposes and there were no leaks before the replacement. We now have a leak that DAC refuses to fix.
Our roof was replaced by DAC Roofing in January 2019. After the first rain we noticed a leak close to our fireplace chase. Per the contract, DAC was notified within 24 hours of the leak on January 23rd and they returned to the house the next day. A picture was taken of a 4 x 3" area of dry plywood under 1 shingle in the general area of the roof corresponding to the leak in the ceiling. It would later be discovered by Doodlebuggers (a professional chimney service company) that this area was *notthe problem area. The result of this visit was that the leak was not DAC's problem and that Doodlebuggers should be contacted to inspect the chimney chase. Upon a subsequent leak event on May 12 and within the required 24 hours, DAC was notified, and returned and replaced the shingles around the chimney. It was suggested that the chimney itself could be leaking, but that if it was the shingles around it, then the replacements would resolve the leak. It was further suggested by *** (DAC Owner) that the issue was loose siding, which was repaired. Even after the siding repair and replaced shingles around the chimney, the leak continued. We paid $155 for the inspection on the chimney and the results were that the "J" channel was missing from the bottom of the siding causing the leak through the roof. I believe the roofers pulled it off when removing the shingles because there is evidence of the "J" channel being there. This is proven by the picture taken by the Doodlebuggers representative and included in our report. The roof did not leak prior to being replaced. Our homeowner's insurance company could not find permits on the roof replacement after hurricane Ivan (XXXX) and was going to drop our coverage if we did not replace it. So we paid DAC $7,840.00, paid by check, half before they started the job, and the balance the day they finished, to replace it. I have months of correspondence with *** via texts that I have saved discussing the leak and who is responsible for it. I also have the report from the chimney inspection. There is also a metal roof attached to the back of the house which was not contracted to be replaced by DAC. This roof also did not leak prior to the replacement of the main roof. During the removal and replacement of the main roof, DAC employees walked on the metal roof and broke the seals causing leaks. *** stated that DAC was not contracted to replace that roof so he was not responsible for the leaks; however, his salesman, Trevor, tried to sell us a new metal roof to remedy the issue. The chimney test report was provided to *** to which he responded with no acceptance of responsibility.
We would like the following as resolutions: 1) Repair the "J" channel 2) Repair the interior ceiling 3) Repair the metal roof 4) Reimbursement for Doodlebuggers chimney inspection
DAC Roofing Installed new shingle roof on January 17-18th, 2019.
January 23, 2019 Sunday 6:30 pm. Mr. notified me of leak at chase. (see Pic attached)
January 24th, 2019 sent Superintendent to check shingles at chase. Nothing was found to be installed incorrectly. Notified owner of loose vinyl that He should have checked. Leak could be caused by horizontal wind rain. Not roof related.
February 27th. Text from Mr. notified us of back porch leak.(see text Attached). Superintendent was there within hours. DAC was not contracted to remove or replace back metal porch roof. We did not work/walk on the metal roof.(see pictures attached)
Trevor did not try to "sell" a mew metal roof as He is not a sales man. He asked if He would like a measurement so that the office could quote.
April XX X:XX am received text from Mr.. Back porch leaking. Sent Trevor back out. Mr *** also got on roof to look at the porch. Sent text apologizing due to the condition of the roof said it was an easy fix thanking us for the great customer service.(see attached text)
May 12 Leak at chimney text. Sent installer out to remove shingles at chase again and check the wood for water intrusion. Once again all decking was dry at shingles at chase. Recommended Mr. to contact Doodle buggers a chimney expert and correct the vinyl install issues. (see Pictures attached) Vinyl not correctly installed/missing J Channel.
June 6th. Received text - "Stormed all day...no leaks" (see attached text) Installers tacked the siding down some for him. Recommend a vinyl guy to come correct the vinyl install.
June 20th received text from Mr.. Vinyl has been repaired. Client will be contact Doodle buggers for a chimney leak test.
June 29th received email from Mr. in regards to the Doodle buggers Report (see attached) Mid page to right "the J channel on the inside where the roof meets the chase is missing, water is being allowed to channel into the vinyl siding allowing it to go under flashing and into the roof between shingles" Also states that the Exterior material on chase is deficient.
Mr. also stated in His email that the report states that they found the cause of the leak to be in the flashing, not the chase it self. (see attached email)
July 1. DAC Responded with the facts stated in the report and once again recommended to correct the J channel on His vinyl as we have said form the very beginning (January 23rd, first leak)
When DAC Roofing, LLC removes and Replaced a roof we do not remove and replace vinyl at a chase or flashing unless it is damaged. we did not charge for flashing or vinyl work. Mr *** believes we removed His J-channel which the installers have no reason to do so the shingles *** up to the chase. Also, if Mr. had a vinyl installer repair the vinyl why is it still missing j channel and Doodlebugger report state -Deficient exterior material(vinyl)
July 1 Emails. Mr. stated He would replace the J-Channel and if that does not correct He will take legal action and bad reviews to the Revdex.com and Sunbiz. (see attached)
DAC Roofing does require a 50% down payment with signed contract to hold your spot in the schedule. Check is not cashed until your material is on your roof. We do not take peoples money until we are working on your job. We also have completed close to 800 roofs in the past 4-5 years here locally. Mr *** we did not remove your J channel, we have tried multiple times to repair the drywall(see attached) Mr *** said He would repair Himself. The metal roof is not in any condition to repair and we did not walk/damage the roof(see attached Picture and apology about the condition of the roof) Doodle buggers states the leak is caused by the vinyl on chase that you said was repaired! We have a great reputation for doing what we say we are going to do. If we were at fault for a install warranty we could remedy the situation. The roof install is great. The vinyl chase that we did not install needs to be repaired by a licensed vinyl installed or Mr. will continue to have the same issue.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
DAC has never tried to make repairs to the ceiling, I was told that when the leak stops, someone would be out to make the repairs.I told ***, out of frustration after many phone calls, that I would handle the repairs myself because he refused to take responsibility for the damage. I was personally on the roof when it was being replaced and witnessed the guys walking on the metal roof. I understand there was no reason to remove the "J" channel, but it was removed. I also understand why it could have been removed; if the tar build-up on the shingles made it difficult to remove the shingles under the channel then it would have been removed. Attached is a photo of the chimney chase before DAC replaced the roof. No work had been done on the roof prior to DAC.
Excellent job! I love our new roof. Great support staff too.
Thank You Mrs. It was a pleasure working with you.
Great company and I highly recommend! From bidding to install an enjoyable professional experience! My roof was 54 squares and it took them 2 days! Fast and efficient.
I had a great experience with them. They were punctual, did good work, and cleaned up extremely well.
They showed up when they said they would. The removed the old roof and cleaned up as they went. Them made many magnetic sweeps to find any nails that may have fallen to the ground.
They finished up in 3 days and the roof looks great. I had a positive experience with the DAC roofing team.
