D3 Busline

Every year for my birthday I rent a party bus with my friends. This past year D3 Busline was sold to another person by the name of [redacted] [redacted]. The bus was set to arrive at 9pm at [redacted] on January [redacted], the day of my 30th birthday and pick up about 20 of my friends and I. I had already paid [redacted] a $300 deposit for the bus. [redacted] called me at 8:45pm and said the bus wasn't starting and was still in Long Island City, but she hoped they could get it to start. I then called her back when I didn't hear from her after 9pm and she told me the following things:-she had a generator of some kind to jump start the bus, but the facility where the bus was located had no power for some reason-she said the bus had started yesterday-she said she'd known about the bus not starting since 6pm that day.I asked her many times, since she knew since 6pm that the bus wasn't starting, why she didn't try to secure an alternative bus or at least let me know sooner. Her reply was and continued to be that having the back up generator was her only option in case the bus didn't and that she has done her best. As someone who had paid her $300 and had a signed contract that a bus would be there at 9pm, I very much disagree.
