We rented a property through DPM from 07/15/13-06/30/13. We vacated the property on 05/26/13 and turned in keys and notified [redacted], the owner on 05/28/13. More than 14 days have passed and we have not received our security deposit back, although various attempts have been made to contact her requesting this. She has our current mailing address, as well as the keys, as we dropped off our last rent check after the keys at her drop box and she has cashed our last rent check. She will not return any calls, emails or texts and we are left waiting for our $2100. During our investigation, we also noticed she is not carrying a current license with the state of WA for the business in which we were told we renting with and signed our contract with. This is a significant amount of money that is due to us. Also, we did not receive walk through documents, which I reqeusted several times, so there can be no claims that she will not refund us due to this, although no damage was done in the 6 months we lived there. We are experiencing substantial financial hardship due to this.
