D K Cleaning & Maintenance Service

DK had a crew in our home last week who we believe stole from us. The items were bath products that we actually saw the morning they cleaned, and then were missing the next day. Of course DK denies this because they asked their cleaner who said he/she didn't steal. Well, it is a rare occasion that a thief admits to stealing. Luckily the products only totaled $21, but it is much more the violation and principle of someone stealing from you. A police report was filed as we want this on record for the next time this employee steals from another home. What we realized is this employee is likely conducting the "perfect crime." She/He is given access to a home and her/his finger prints are all over. She/He takes things that typically would go unnoticed. Would you know if a CD was missing, a fork, a pair of socks, three Ziploc bags, a roll of toilet paper? Of course not. This employee is likely furnishing his/her home off of others. The companys investigation is a joke, they blamed it on us for using the wrong e-mail address to submit a grievance (I e-mailed the owner directly instead of the generic e-mail address), called us liars because their "Technicians do not steal," and would not make it right. They never even needed to admit fault, but simply make it right. Unfortunately, [redacted], the office manager has the most appalling customer service skills. She is so unprofessional in her tone, message, and delivery. She blamed everything on the customer, took no responsibility, and basically made it all out to be a joke. She should be ashamed of herself. I will provide a copy of her response... unfortunately; I do not get enough space here to put the entire letter. In closing, we believe DK Cleaning and Maintenance Services has employees who steal from homes, and may steal from yours too. They have embarrassing and unprofessional customer service skills, and have no knowledge of how to deal with customers.
