I was charged 3.5 hrs labor while only at the repair shop 3.0 hrs. in addition each time the front desk would page "service line 2" the mechanic would stop to take the calls answer ?s for other mechanics, all while letting my clock run at $100/hr. Then I was told I was charged .5 hrs cleanup at the mechanic rate of $100/hr. In my opinion this is wrong, I can find someone to answer the phone and sweep at far less than $100/hr. I complained to management and was told this is normal. He replaced 1 leaking fuel line! This is why truckers are going out of business. This in my opinion is unfair and deceptive business practices. He didnt sweep the shop b4 I entered and I dont really know if he swept when I left. I do know that as the service supervisor he was interupted many times. I would caution anyone considering this shop for repairs be very aware of their charging practices.
