D C Awnings

I'm astonished that DC Awnings has an A+ rating with Revdex.com. I ordered an awning in June and the salesman([redacted]) came to my business to take measurements. At that time, I was told that the job would be done in 6 to 8 weeks (3rd week of July to 2nd week of August). I called at the beginning of July to check on the schedule and was told that I wasn't on the schedule yet, because he forgot to get the deposit while he was here. The salesman came the next week and picked up a deposit of more than 50%. I was told the job would be complete in early September. I called in October and was told they would be here to get my frame that Friday (OCT. 3). I opened early to be here when they came but they didn't show up. I called the next week(Oct. 6) and was told by [redacted] that the owner, [redacted], does the scheduling and I would have to call back Tuesday. I called Tuesday and was told to call the next Tuesday and [redacted] gave me a cell number for [redacted], who of course, doesn't answer his cell phone. The next Tuesday, I was told that [redacted] wasn't in but may be in Friday. All things being considered, I asked for my deposit back and was told that only [redacted] can write checks. Long story short, it took almost 3 weeks (Nov. 3rd) to get my deposit back. I still haven't talked to or met [redacted] and was treated poorly when I had to drive 18 miles to DC to pick up a check (hopefully it will clear). I have never been treated more unprofessionally, nor have I ever dealt with a company that had such little concern for their customer or service. I would not suggest anyone even call DC Awnings.
