Thank you for contacting National Seating & Mobility (NSM) regarding Complaint ID ***NSM’s mission is to provide the best care to our clients as prescribed by their physician and/or therapistIf it seems we’ve fallen short of that mission in Mr*** case, I do apologizeHowever,
after reviewing the information he submitted and our notes, NSM was not able to identify any areas for significant improvementAt initial evaluation it was determined Mr*** wheelchair would best meet his needs if it measured eighteen inches wideHowever, Mr*** requested the chair be as narrow as possible and NSM honored his requestA short time after delivery, Mr*** requested NSM widen the chair which was completed in SeptemberOnce this was addressed, NSM was not made aware of any other concerns until February Mr*** notified NSM in February that he was having difficulty transferring from his chair and asked to try a couple of different cushion optionsNSM arrived at Mr*** home so that he could demo cushion options, however he was not home at the time of this scheduled appointmentOur NSM representative left three cushions for Mr*** to trial and did not receive a response regarding which best meets his needsAt this time, as a gesture of goodwill, NSM has agreed to cease billing for the outstanding balance on Mr*** accountWe have also attempted to contact Mr*** to arrange the return of our trial cushions and to see how we might best address his additional concernsHowever, we have received no response to our attemptsWe are willing to work with him to address those concerns but need his cooperationShould you need additional information, please feel free to contact me at *** ext or by email at *** Respectfully, Karen Shell Director of Compliance
