Review: This complaint involves the repeated spamming of insolicited e-mails by this operation to companies that have put out press releases, but have never contacted "Cyberalert". The enterprise is a classic spammer and has registered incorrect information about its website with the website registrar which calls into question its credibility. Server checks indicate that it might in fact be based in China. However, this is uncertain. The Cybertalert spammer was contacted on 6th March 2014 with an order to cease and desist all further contact with personnel at [redacted] as follows:#############################CEASE AND DESIST ALL FURTHER CONTACTYou are hereby ordered to cease and desist any further e-mail, telephone or telefaxcontact with The [redacted] Corporation or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.Any further unsolicited e-mails or communications to any corporate address will besaved as evidence and forwarded to the appropriate authorities. Further action maybe taken if warranted.Further Information:- Adding to newsletter without permission- Failure to respect unsubscribe or removal requestTechnology and Security DivisionThe [redacted] Corporation############################The order above was sent our personnel responded to the spammer with a "REMOVE!!" order inthe subject line (3rd March 2014).We charge a 60 USD / hour spam handling fee to enterprises that have violated both an usubscribe/remove and a Cease and Desist response. Cyberalert with two violations which have been handled has an outstanding balance of 120 USD for this."Cyberalert" continues per today to send unsolicited, irrelevant and unwanted spamvertisements. We have never contacted them, asked them for information about their services nor have we expressed any interest in their product.Desired Settlement: That the operation calling itself "Cyberalert" provide correct information to the public as to its status as a business in the US (or wherever it is in fact located). That the operation calling itself "Cyberalert" cease and desist all further conctact with any personnel at [redacted] or affiliated companies. That the Revdex.com conduct a general search to determine whether the business is in fact registered in your state, who runs it and where the business is legally located and post the results.
