CVN Williams Heating & Air Conditioning

Review: Was never informed of service charge of $139.75. They never performed any services, failed to provide an estimate then ordered a replacement part without authority to do so. Since they never replied to my request for an estimate I used another service provider. Later, when they called to schedule the installation I cancelled then was sent their bill. Until that point there was no mention of a service charge.Desired Settlement: I would like the bill negated.

[redacted] called us in for a no a/c service call. I went out and trouble shot the system. The system had a shorted out compressor. After determining the problem I contacted [redacted] and informed him that the unit had to be replaced. He asked how fast we could do it. I told him I will check if it is in stock and get back to him. The next day I called him to tell him it was in stock and could be installed. He asked how much it would cost and was told $3200. At that point he said he can get it done cheaper.

He was billed for a standard service call of $130.00 plus tax for the time I was there to trouble shoot the equipment. All customers are told of our service rates before anyone is dispatched to a house.

apperantly [redacted] does not think that coming to his house troubleshooting the unit, finding the shorted compressor is not performing a service.
