I contacted Mark Hopkins regarding tiling my bathtub walls and settled on his $2100 price and issued him $1000 in cash to start the job in late September 2017. His worker Randy, showed up to do the 3 day job f tiling the shower and installing new plumbing fixtures. The first 4 days, randy spent no more that 3 hours on the actual job site working. He missed multiple days without calling and, finally after 16 days, the job was completed and the balance of $1100 was paid to Mark directly with a check. As the weather turned colder we noticed that there was not a full flow of hot water coming through the plumbing that was reworked. I contacted Mark in early December 2017, who contacted Randy to let him know we had an issue. Randy showed up once on 8 December 2017, spent less than an hour looking at the problem and said he would be back 11 December 2017. He never showed up or contacted us by phone or text. Multiple texts and messages (when you call Cutting edge Flooring, there is only an answering machine) with no response for either. I now have a finished shower that can not be used due to lack of hot water which indicates improper installation of the plumbing. I am looking for resolution to this situation.3/3/2018 - Additional information:I filed a complaint against this company with the Revdex.com back in November and still do not have any resolution to the problem they created. They will not return calls or come over and correct this. The Revdex.com still has them listed as an A+ member and as an active business. I want my issues corrected or have them pay for another company to fix it! Mark the owner, will not return calls to the business line and has changed his cell phone number. I have not heard from the Revdex.com for 2 months on this issue but you are still rating them A+!
