Cut Rate Cruise Consultants

Review: Tracey Marshall took $529 from me, with the promise that she would register me as a travel agent under her agency, Cut Rate Cruise Consultants. That was in February 2013, and it is now mid-August. I have never received anything for the money I sent to her. According to CLIA (the licensing agency), they have no record of me and Tracey has never submitted my name and info for the id card she promised was in the mail to me on three different occasions. I want the money back that I sent her, as well as compensation for advertising that I did (because she assured me I was an agent), as well as lost commissions from individuals who wanted to book vacations with me. Embarrassingly, I had to go to each of them and reveal to them that I was never an agent to begin with. Tracey has blocked me from facebook, and is not returning my texts, emails or phone calls. In fact, when I tried to have her served with a summons for court, she would not sign for the certified letter, and the business she co-owns, Easy Home Lynchburg, said she was never there-although I have proof otherwise. I have all email and financial documentation to back up my claims in this complaint and will be happy to forward that to whomever may need it.Desired Settlement: I would like $1729 for the $529 I paid her, plus expenses I incurred as a result of the promises she made.
