This is in regards to C.C.R ( [redacted] ) claim # [redacted] . We at [redacted] removed fan blower to find sunflower seeds, and an abundant amount of dirt throughout blower compartment, after showing Mr. [redacted] what we have found, we cleaned seeds and dirt out reinstalled blower.... We informed him that there may be more seed in ducting in dash that may still be trapped that are unable to be removed. In our professional opinion there is no possible way that the sun flower seeds could have caused blower motor to seize up and cause the resistor to short out. The air conditioning compressor and the blower motor is located in two separate locations the blower motor is in the passenger compartment and the compressor is located on the engine and is run off the accessory belt. The amount of dirt in the intake of the blower compartment would be in my opinion the cause of the motor so seize up. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. Review: Hired CCR ([redacted])for auto body repair. Got the truck back with a screeching air conditioner. Floor mats missing. Broken cowl grille. [redacted]t says it wasn't his fault even though he hired other people to work on the truck and wasn't sure if or what they might have did. Not even sure what was broken or not when we dropped it off. We went to & found the mats (one was torn) we replaced the cowl grille because he wouldn't and [redacted] found sunflower seeds down in the hole of the dash. He removed some. Screeching stopped. Assured me that the ones left would not cause further damage. They did-froze the blower motor, & resistor. Then needed a/c compressor kit replacement. And a/c clutch. Total $2110. Stewart says he is not responsible.Desired Settlement: Would like reimbursement for the damages caused while the vehicle was in his possession. $2135.
