Review: During the first week of June, I had a telephone conversation with an "Aaron Thompson" of Custody Guardians. However, prior to my knowing they assumed this business alias, Aaron and Fernando Me[redacted] contacted me under this supposed company name called, "Affordable Family Law Attorneys Network." They contacted me in reference to an i[redacted]net search I did looking for a reasonable priced family law attorney for the state of Delaware. I was told they assist people with locating a family lawyer who doesn't charge excessive legal fees and a large retainer. I was told the most I would ever have to pay is anywhere from $500.00-$1,500.00 total for attorney cost and legal fees and co. I signed up with them over the phone and my Visa debit card on TD Bank charged $500.00 for the month of July as agreed. The contract I was asked to sign was forwarded to me via my email. I signed it thinking they were a reputable company and returned it. The following month of July, I paid this company from the same debit card $250.00. Mr. Me[redacted] had originally requested more. However, by then I started noticing some discrepancies and contradictory statements coming from him. I asked for more results before paying anymore. Each day I called he had a different excuse as to why my case hadn't been assigned an attorney yet. He told me I was being assigned to a lawyer named S[redacted] of the Pi[redacted] Law Firm handling my divorce case. Yet, when I contacted this attorney she mentioned via email she didn't know anything about the company and that Mr. Me[redacted] hadn't spoken to her. The only communication he made was via her Paralegal. Mr. Me[redacted] through several phone calls and emails kept stating he was going to call her. However, Ms. Pi[redacted] has insured me he hasn't. It is now August and I haven't been assigned an attorney yet! When I told Mr. Me[redacted] I was i[redacted]ested in being represented by Ms. Pi[redacted], he then sent an email saying I needed to pay over $1,000 or more which deviates from the original contract agreement. I want a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like to have refunded the total amount of $750.00. This because in the month if June Mr. Medina requested the first deposit be in $500.00. In July, I paid the company $250.00. I am requesting a refund because it has been too long without hearing or getting results. I haven't been given an attorney. I am disabled have no income and have very limited funds. I also want this company reported, investigated and looked into. Delete my debit card info. I now I am very upset and irate
