I ordered tea from this company; however, I received the wrong tea (Caffeinated, but needed Decaf). Company was contacted and a refund was promised for the $39.95 spent. Business promised a refund upon return of product. Product was returned on 04/17/2020 (tracking *** verified that the Item was received by company on 04/24/2020 at approximately 1345 hours. Company now has my money and its product.
A couple of points that the customer does not note or include. 1) The customer ordered the wrong tea, nowhere on the product web page does it indicate the tea is decaf, he received EXACTLY what he ordered 2) We offer to refund, if returned, even thou our return policy says no returns of tea and 3) as of 5/11 we do not have the Tea back yet. If the tea is returned we will refund if in new condition (not including shipping cost refund)
The tracking number provided on this complaint was not the tracking number provided when you contested payment with the processor (which they sided with us). Therefore, we had in our system the number that was provided to the processor, which was never received obviously. I checked with the warehouse, the package was received and the issue we have now is some of the tea, sent to you in a sealed packages, has been opened (I can provide picture if you wish) and now cannot be sold and must be destroyed.
We will process a refund for the unopened boxes received back minus our shipping cost.
Please note according to our stated refund policy tea cannot be returned and you are not entitled to a refund however we are extending this refund as a customer courtesy as we always strive for satisfied customers.

I am rejecting this response because: all tea bags were returned. There were six boxes in clear packaging. The overall packaging was opened. None of the tea bags were opened. Two tracking numbers were provided to business. One was their tracking number for package received by me. One was the tracking number provided by me for the return. I will accept the refund of the price paid to you of $39.95. I have paid shipping and I will not request that from the business.
