Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They are still basing decisions based on speculation and what they "think" occurredThe company still doesn't explain why they allowed purchase of a policy they would never stand by in the first place since they are basing decisions based on when the policy was purchasedFor example, if I had to cancel my trip based on bad weather, would they tell me no because I could predict or see the weather forecast prior? How can someone predict or foresee a death, and if I'm capable to do so, why would have I even needed their services if that was the case? They didn't bother to look and see what the hotel policy was, if I could foresee death I could have foreseen myself into calling the hotel and canceling while I still could have gotten my money backI'm being treated as someone who is trying to get something for nothing, as if I'm trying to swindle them out of something that doesn't belong to meLike I deserved to lose my Grandfather and that I deserved to lose all the money that I invested in my trip to the Dominican (my very first opportunity to venture beyond the united states, oh and I have a passport to prove that as well)This company is treating me as if I'm some kind of insurance criminal, when all I want is the money back that belonged to me in the first placeSo if I am unable to retrieve that from them, that is why I definitely deserved to grant them a poor rating from my consumer experienceEspecially when I called the company first prior to filing my claim to explain what had happened, and not once was I advised that my situation wouldn't be coveredI dealt with months of back and forth with this company retrieving all kinds of medical release information from my grieving mother, so they could get whatever information they needed to send me an official denial of there claimSomeone who cooperates in that type of manner must be fraudulent right? This company has never taken any responsibility for the shenanigans that took place during those months, it was bad business period Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowDear Ms.**,
Thank you for replying with the message from CSA
TravelI agree that I did book the cruise on August The reply states,
” The Policy Confirmation Letter confirming there was no Cancel for Any Reason
coverage, and the Description of Coverage outlining the plan's coverage and
coverage restrictions, were emailed to Mr*** at the time of the insurance
purchase”If this statement is true, why did I just only receive a Policy
Confirmation Letter on February After the fact when we started the
claims processI have scrubbed my email that I gave to the agent when I bought
the insuranceI have not found the Policy Confirmation Letter anywhere in my
inbox or junk mail that was dated when I purchased the insuranceI keep stuff
for a long time just to make sure things like this do not happenIt seems to
be that there is a communication breakdown somewhereI know if I would have had the
policy confirmation letter I would have not gotten the insuranceThe agent who
was the phone said that I would be reimbursed for the full amount if we were to
cancel at any timeAs to date the company still owes me the $dollarsTruly
I am tired of trying to contact the company since they feel they cannot talk to
me about the issuesOnce again there has been no customer serviceI am not
satisfied with what the company has to sayI have been in the military for
years, I believe I deserve a lot more respect than what the CSA Travel is giving me
and my familyFamily is very important to me and this is not helping my family

I am the owner of a guest cottage that rents online and travelers are covered by CSA which is an option for me versus a refundable damage deposit After the first claim handled by CSA, I will only be using a refundable damage deposit The company would not refund me for sheets and towels used by a guest who had major surgery and returned to my property with body drainsShe did not divulge this in advance or I wouldn't have accepted her reservation The issue for me, was assuring my subsequent guests a standard of safety knowing that sheets and towels were not contaminated with any possible disease that is spread by *** bodily fluidsdrains equals a lot of potential to spread disease I had not way to sterilize the towels and sheets and so I threw them out and purchased new ones CSA denied the claim because there were no visible blood stains according to the renter Germs are not visible and I was shocked that CSA did not consider this damage worth reimbursement I will never use them again

administrator of the travel protection plan that was purchasedWe are in receipt of your email
dated July 30, 2014, notifying us of the complaint filed by Ms***
Ms*** and her
family booked a Norwegian Cruise through Vacations to Go with scheduled
sailing dates of May 31, to June 07, They flew from Los Angeles to Seattle on May
30, After arriving in Seattle and the bag search by the TSA, the birth certificate for her son
was missing from the checked luggageThe cruise line would not allow Ms***' son to board
the ship without the birth certificate
The travel protection plan purchased provides a TRIP CANCELLATION BENEFIT, "if you are
prevented from taking your Trip due to one of the following unforeseeable Covered Events that
occur before departure on your Trip "The language for TRIP INTERRUPTION BENEFIT
states "If your arrival on your Trip is delayed beyond your Scheduled Departure Date, or if you
are unable to continue the Trip due to one of the unforeseeable Covered Events listed below
that occur during your Trip dates ",
The plan defines TRIP as "A period of round-trip travel at least miles away from Home to
your designated vacation destination associated with the purchase of this insurance "In most
cases if an insured has not departed from their Home, the claim would be handled as a Trip
CancellationIf they have left their Home to begin the Trip, the claim would be handled as a Trip
Interruption
Regarding this situation, the Covered Events for both Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption
Benefits are the sameBenefits are available only for "A documented theft of your passports
or visas"The loss or theft of a birth certificate is not one of the Covered Events that would allow
payment of benefitsTherefore, we must reaffirm our original decision that no benefits are
payable for this claim
