On [redacted] 4th, 2012, I ordered a backup video camera battery (VW-VBN260) from [redacted] The item came with a one year warranty. I have used the item 3 times since I purchased it, and every single time, it has caused an unexpected shutdown of my video camera, combined with data loss, meaning it causes footage to be lost from the hard drive. I didn't realize it was the battery causing it to happen until the 3rd time I tried using it. At this point, I reported the problem to [redacted] (March 17, 2013). [redacted] responded to me via email by saying, "We will ship the replacement battery for you and we will test the battery before send to you, please wait for the replacement package and inside the package has the prepaid envelope for the return of the defective battery, sorry for the inconvenience." Good deal, right? After this, [redacted] emailed again, rescinding his offer and telling me that I had to pay out of my own pocket to mail his defective battery back to him before he would send my replacement. I told that it is not my duty to pay out of my own pocket to ship a defective item that he sent me, obviously without testing it in the first place. He didn't respond. I wrote again, telling him that I would just like a full refund, since he isn't responding to my replacement requests. He did not respond to this, either.
