Review: Over a several non-consecutive month period during 2011/2012 I purchaced 16 or so factory sealed boxes of Fringe Trading cards which are distributed by Cryptozoic. I should have been able to put together a master set from that number of boxes but I didn't. I mailed and emailed several letters asking Cryptozoic for help but never received any responce. As a collector I would like to have that master set, especially since I paid for it. Considering I paid $30 or so per box maybe I should be asking for a refund but I would rather have the cards. I can't go to each seller because I don't know exactly which box came from which seller.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I just want the master set I should have gotten from the number of boxes I purchased including the redemption cards for the oversized wardrobe cards. Not the wardrobe cards themselves (though it would be nice) just the redemption cards for them. A written apology for their rudeness in not responding to me in any way would be appreciated also.

To whom it may concern,

There are no records of this customer contacting Cryptozoic Entertainment through the customer service portal or mailings to our location. We have searched our customer service portal and mail submitted to our office and there are no records of this customer contacting us. All customer service issues need to be submitted to our customer service portal www.cryptozoic.kayako.com.

As the packaging suggest, all cards are randomly inserted and contain no guarantee of special inserts in any amount of product. There is no guarantee of any number of cards in any amount of product you purchase. Where stated, odds reflect an average of the entire print run; no ratio is guaranteed to exist within an individual box or case.

Collectors understand there are no guaranteed inserts in any amount of purchased product, especially if boxes are purchased separately.

If any other questions, please me know. Thank you.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[I've attached a copy of the letter I last sent to Cryptozoic. At the top in red are the dates I mailed it each time. Each time I mailed it I updated the date. On this last one I added the last paragraph. Otherwise it was the same each time. I don't have copies of the numerous emails due to a computer virus. Back when I was actively pursueing this I searched but never found a phone number. I Hope you can help me.]

Review: The company has "released" a beta version of their product to the public, which has been in beta testing for a minimum of two years now. A great number of their clients have pre-purchased this product (Hex TCG) and have yet to receive the promised content of a full release. This is not only frustrating to contact support and have them tell you that they cannot refund your money, but what have they been doing with not only my but all other clients money with? I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome of the product and all the broken promises that I had paid to receive.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive my $250.00 including interest refund from the company.

Review: Cryptozoic, through a [redacted] campaign, promised those that pledged money to receive the Ghostbusters Board Game that they would receive the game "before anyone else" (https://www.[redacted].com/projects/cze/ghostbusters-the-board-game/[redacted])... After collecting payment from backers, the shipments were delayed several times, which is expected with a [redacted] campaign. However, as of November 11, 2015, Cryptozoic made the game available in retail stores while acknowledging that shipments to all backers would not be complete until after Christmas. This means that backers would get the game after "anyone else" and incidentally at a higher price than "anyone else".

I have made several attempts to contact Cryptozoic and ask for a refund or way to return my game when it finally arrives. The only replies I receive are flat denials-- that Cryptozoic is not offering returns or refunds. Despite promising frequent shipping updates, Cryptozoic has only offered vague, sporadic updates while directing more specific queries to the shipping company. The shipping company, in return, has said they are not allowed to provide more specific updates. This means that despite violating the terms of the original offer, Cryptozoic is offering no remedies and showing no willingness to work with their customers.

I reaching out to the Revdex.com to pursue a refund, due to the delay, availability of the product in stores, and unwillingness of the company to cooperate.Desired Settlement: A full refund of my $163.00 purchase amount.

Review: Company started a project on Kickstarter to help fund their Ghostbusters board game. 8,000+ of us chipped in to help make it a reality. We were originally promised an Oct delivery date, but , as with all things, it was delayed.

In the original solicitation form Cryptozoic for the project, it was stated that we, as backers, would receive our game and rewards before it went to retail. That did not happen. The game and all other items associated with it are in the hands of the shipping company, Ship Naked, and most of the 8,000+ backers still do not have the game. The game has been out for a little over a week with little to no communication from Cryptozoic regarding any updates to the situation. The latest we received was that it could be as late as Christmas before we received it.Desired Settlement: To communicate better and have the game and rewards we were promised in a much more timely manner than what is currently happening.

Review: I donated $1,000 to this company on kickstarter funding to help with their dream of making HEXTCG. They received $2,278,255 from pledges like my own and in return I'm supposed to receive some benefits including lifetime drafts which in my case is two drafts a week which equal about $14 a week. I had my credit card stolen and my credit card company marked charges as fraud that were paid to this companies publisher automatically. I filed a Revdex.com complaint on my bank and I was able to obtain a letter that says that I didn't report these charges as fraud and that they were done automatically by their system. I have provided this company and their publisher this letter and in three months they have failed to return my banned account. These two charges were for $19.39 and have been unmarked as fraud since October but since they were marked as fraud they were also refunded back to me. Considering they are supposed to give me $14 dollars a week on drafts, banning me for less than $40 due to a bank error is unethical.Desired Settlement: I would really like to have my account asap returned and any benefits missed because of my ban given to me. If this outcome is not likely, I would like a full refund of my Kickstarter donation since they are failing to payout my rewards due to no fault of my own or failure of their Kickstarter game. I would also like a refund of every dollar spent on this digital game over the last two years from my Kickstarter account since I have been wrongfully banned.

Review: I purchased a box of trading cards that this company produces. I looked over the ratios of inserts per box and decided that $100.00 was not a bad price for two autographed cards from the Walking Dead season three part 1. Well after opening the box, I received one autograph. Upon further review the individual packs in the box have a 1:24 autograph per box instead of a 1:12 as the box stated. This miss represented ratio was the sole reason for the purchase. I contacted the company and was told that its miss printed and not their problem, and that they will not make good on the missing autograph. I feel cheated and feel that this miss representation was done on purpose to get people to purchase more of their product.Desired Settlement: I would either like my money back for this purchase or the autographed card that was promised to me by the advertisement on the box.
