I ordered a product from stupid.com: the product as pictured on their site was a fairly realistic-looking rubber piglet. What I received can only be referred to as "roadkill piglet." The item I received was a completely flat "piglet," made of rubber or latex which was so old it was stuck together in places where is wasn't brittle or cracked and the back feet were missing. I emailed the company twice and have yet to receive a reply. I've called twice during business hours on a weekday; each time I waited on hold for several minutes then heard a recorded message instructing me to "call back during business hours." The Returns page on the stupid.com website instructs as follows:
Pay $8.99 for a return label, plus a restocking fee of 10%. Upon receipt, we'll issue the remaining balance to your original form of payment. Just send us a message via our Contact Us page, and we'll take care of the rest. *Please note that for orders that are undeliverable, refused, or unclaimed a $8.99 return fee will be applied to the original payment.
I have no intention of giving stupid.com any more of my money for sending me a product which bears not resemblance to the item pictured on their website. I am still waiting for a reply to one of my emails.
Buyer beware of the small print. I took delivery of a building and was told at the dealer that it was 6 months same as cash... at least that is what I heard because I set up a payment schedule for a six month time frame. I expected to make my last payment before Oct 24 as I purchased in April. NOPE!!! I wound up having to pay [redacted] $1770. rather than the expected $760 because the deal was for 3 months not six. Of course the paperwork is the run of the mill rental stuff or car sales stuff so I signed and left with what the girl there told me...Six Months Same as cash..... WRONG!!!! Dont forget to read the small print and verify the deal....
