I have had my membership under a year. I tried a personal trainer as soon as I joined but before we could do a single session Austin bailed on me 3 times in one week and I was done. He seemed younger and had a busy schedule that didn't match my 9-5. Then I attempted to set up my online account to schedule classes. However, it said it didn't recognize my email information even though I was getting emails from crunch consistently. That was kinda confusing. Couldn't reset my password but I had registered. Then the virus was starting. I emailed 3 times trying to get this sorted out so I could make the most of my membership. I emailed before they closed, during and after they reopened. Each time it promoted the automated response that you would be contacted within 24-48 hours. I never heard a single response back. I have recently discovered I will be moving to a new state where a location will not be in my current city. The closest will be over 90 minutes away. I wanted to see my options for cancelling my membership. How that would work. I called Sunday and Stefan said that I would have to speak to a manger and the manager hours were normally until 7pm. Called the next day. During said manger hours. Spoke to Matt who is the manager. I explained my situation about moving and matt told me to email him and gave me his email address. Matt said I could put in my 30 day notice. Well it's been a few days and I haven't heard back. I asked for general information about canceling and if there were associated fees. I called again tonight spoke to Anna and she said I could email Matt again. That there was no corporate number to call assist me. Matt was out of the office this week. Manager hours are 12-5. She did not apologize about my frustration and I know that wasn't the most upbeat call from me.but she was happy to get off the phone with me. I am not emailing anyone anymore. I'm going in person. Since apparently no one will acknowledge me otherwise. I will do whatever it takes to be done with this place. I saw so many great reviews. What an absolute joke. I work in customer service and I have for years. If your someone who has basic gym needs, doesn't mind crowds, and doesn't ever expect help or any customer service here's your place. But otherwise just don't. I am so disappointed in how much money I have paid to be treated so disrespectfully. The whole experience was such a fail on so many levels. I feel like they are giving me the run around on purpose so they can keep charging me. I just hope that they learn from this and how to better communicate when they know the same person has reached out multiple times in the same week to 3 different people explaining the same situation and needing help that they would follow up to get it handled. It's not that difficult to respond to an email or phone calls. I just want to know what I need to do to be done with this place.
