Hello ***, I received your letter today about this issue I have been in contact directly with Ms [redacted] and the matter is closed She was awarded IHG rewards points and is satisfied If you need anything more please let me know No one from the hotel staff ever saw the item She just claimed it was found as she was checking out No worries, we gave her points anyways She also did not return phone calls or emails returned to her as requested It took a couple of week to reach her Kind regards, Tim [redacted] , CHA, General Manager
In response to your letter we received on July 5, 2016 in reference to ID # [redacted].The guest did stay with us under [redacted] on June 17 &18, 2016 in room #[redacted]. The room was booked thru Hotels.com and we in turned billed Hotels.com for the 2 nights. What the guest paid...
Hotels.com is not the same amount we billed the credit card provide by Hotels.com to us.The husband did speak with Kimmy our Executive Housekeeper on Sunday June 19th and claimed the carpet was sticky and had seen cockroaches. Kimmy had offered the guest a 1 night gift certificate which the husband said was fine.The husband did contact Drew our Director of the Front Office and after speaking with him Drew did authorize 2 complimentary night gift certificates which were mailed out on June 22, 2016 (see attachments).On Thursday June 23, 2016 Erik [redacted] with the City of Bloomington Minnesota, Program Coordinator, Environmental Health did inspect the guest room with our Executive Housekeeping after receiving a call and his inspection did involve moving the bed away from the wall found no signs of cockroaches.They have also contacted our General Manager Tim [redacted] and she has agreed to return the gift certificates and then will sign her up for the IHG Rewards program and the hotel will credit her account enough points for 2 nights that they can use at any IHG Property.
