Review: I purchased 2 tickets from Crown Travel on June *, 2013. Due to an emergency I had to cancel the trip. Crown Travel is not willing to refund me my money. I spoke with the airline sales department and they spoke with Crown Travel's manager, [redacted], and told him that he must give back the refund because the tickets are refundable. They are now ignoring my calls, and acting very rude. When I purchased the tickets they convinced me to only pay in cash, because if not then I would have to pay the 5% to charge credit card. They purchased the tickets from a different country so that they can pay less, and the manager is claiming that if they get the money back to give to me then I will have to pay the current dollar exchange rate, which isn't my responsibility. This is not a trustworthy company and very unprofessional. Up until now, I still didn't receive my refund and am having a really hard time with the company.Desired Settlement: They have to refund me back my money.

Regarding complain ID# [redacted]
We are following up with you per your restrictions to try to resolve the above consumer complains
In a fare, fast and exhalable way.
although we acknowledge the costumers compliant we want to resolve this in a timely fashion the costumer has been unwilling to corporate and except our refund based on our refund policy which would give her a full refund mines a penalty on $600 of airline and agency processing fee for a total of $3,032.
Furthermore, the costumers statements of problem is inaccurate: she claims that she had to cancel the ticket due to an “ medical emergency” and she will supply us with proof emergency, In actuality there was no emergency and she didn’t supply any such proof.
2. although the client spoke to the airline directly and was advised that she will get a refund of the money mines $200 the airline doesn’t mandate the final amount that an agent needs to refund the client rather the agency refund policy mandates that.
In this case the clients refund entails an agency processing and handling fee of $400
3. the client claims we have “convinced” her to pay in cash in order to avoid a 5% CC charge. This is partially true…the actual reason for paying by cash was, she has received a deep discount by our agency on the tickets (from the original airline price) and this is why we have asked the client to pay by cash as our agency consolidator supplier (located in [redacted]) only accepts cash as a form of payment in order to get the above discount .
We are a trustfully and a professional business and have been in the business for over 25 years
We have not had a chance to experienced such a client as of yet…
The actions we have taken to try to resolve the clients concern are:
1. We have contacted the client and offered her a refund of $3,034 which is $600 less from the original amount she had paid us to cover the $200 of airline cancelation fees and $400 of agency processing and handling fees.
2. We have contacted the actual passenger that was supposed to travel [redacted] and has agreed to terms of our refund
3. We are contacting the Revdex.com to advise that the client has agreed to our refund and has resolved the complaint .
Attached please find a copy of the client agreement as well as copy of agreement we have given to them
Please advise if you need any further information to close this case.
Thank you
