The work went smoothlyIt took about minutes to completeHowever the cost was astronomicalThe parts themselves were less than $I found this by looking at the prices onlineCrown does not break down their pricesI can see whyThis hides the fact that they can charge over $per hour for laborI spoke to the service manager several times regarding thisBefore the work was done, he assured me it was because the work was going to take approximately hoursHe initially dropped the price as the original quote was over $1,He stated that they would do it for the price of someone who has a service contractAnd I had already paid them $for the initial service callI agreed to this thinking this job was going to take hours or so to completeI was surprised when the service rep was done in less than an hour and the price was still $I called to discuss again and the manager called his rep and basically told him to take more time and do some maintenance on my furnace (which took another minutes), hoping that would pacify me and make me feel like I got more value for my moneySo, they did work I didn't ask for to justify charging me this crazy priceI find $an hour for labor to be abhorrent and will not have Crown do any further work for meAlthough they do good quality work, there is just no way to justify the way they do their billing
