Business owner took deposit of over months ago and was contracted to install fence weeks ago and did not show I have called every day and can not get a return call

We signed a contract on 1/22/with Crown Fence to install a vegetable garden fence for us We gave them 1/of the cost of the fence $1,on February 2, for materials The fence has never been installed as of today (March 19, 2016) and no materials have been deliveredWe tried all phone numbers and have left numerous messages and no one returns our callsAt this point, we just want our $1,dollars returned to us immediately We are senior citizens

I signed a contract on April 3, with Crown Fence (Richard C*** to install fence to surround my shedI gave them 1/of the cost of the fence $on 4/3/ for materialsRick said the project would take weeks for completionThe fence has not been installed as of today (May 21, 2018) and no materials have been deliveredI tried calling phone numbers and have left numerous messages and after a while, no one returns our calls
I had to contact another contractor to complete this job and just want our $returned to us immediately

Review: The fence is not put in right.Desired Settlement: Fenceing was installed and it keeps falling down called the owner 16 times keep getting a run around he send his worker here and he put a pieace of 2by 4 wood under it its not done right..

Review: We hired this contractor back on June 14, 2013 to install fencing at our home because we're putting in an inground pool. At the time contract was drafted, a $4,000 deposit was given to the owner. We were told installation would begin the first week in July. On or about July 15, 2013, after hearing nothing from Crown Fencing, I called to follow up. I was told someone would be out to start clearing our back and installation would begin right after. Again, no one showed. I have left numerous messages and sent several emails with no response. He does not return our calls. It's now been six weeks since he promised to begin project and almost 2 months since we gave him the deposit. Our pool company cannot finish the pool until we install fence and we face problems with the pool lifting since it's not been finished and filled.Desired Settlement: We'd like our money refunded along with interest from the $4,000-he's had our money for almost 2 months. If it comes to having to retain an attorney to get our money returned, we will expect reimbursement of our legal fees as well in addition to any expenses incurred with issues with the pool sitting.
