[redacted] had surgery at Crosstown Surgery Center on 10/21/ Her first statement was sent to her on 12/21/ She contacted the billing office on 12/28/stating she can only make $30/month payments We sent additional statements on 1/25, 3/1, and 4/5/ We called and spoke to her on 2/4/letting her know our policy on payment arrangements and that the $30/month payments did not meet the requirements per the company policy and that she would continue to receive collection notices On 2/20/the first collection letter was sent to her and on 2/28/she sent back the statement with a note indicating she can only make $30/month payments On 3/7/she contacted us again regarding her inability to pay more than $30/month She was told at that time of the company policy and that her payments were below the minimum payment that could be accepted On 3/22/she received her second collection letter and on 4/21/her third letter Following company policy her account was sent to an outside collection agency on 5/5/ Management did attempt to return her phone call but had to leave a message and then on 5/22/management called her back and was able to talk with her It was explained at that time that while we appreciated her efforts she was not making the acceptable minimum payment therefore the collection process continues If we were to accept her payment and agree to a payment arrangement she would have received a letter confirmation, had the payments taken automatically each month, and she would not have received further collection letters This arrangement was never agreed upon by Crosstown Surgery Center When the department manager spoke to her she was offered a discount to pay the bill off with one payment and if she were to do this we would reach out to the outside collection agency and ask they remove the report to the credit bureau She was supposed to call back on 5/26/but did not

I am rejecting this response because:

[redacted] had surgery at Crosstown Surgery Center on 10/21/2016.  Her first statement was sent to her on 12/21/16.  She contacted the billing office on 12/28/16 stating she can only make $30/month payments.  We sent additional statements on 1/25, 3/1, and 4/5/17.  We called and spoke to her on 2/4/17 letting her know our policy on payment arrangements and that the $30/month payments did not meet the requirements per the company policy and that she would continue to receive collection notices.  On 2/20/17 the first collection letter was sent to her and on 2/28/17 she sent back the statement with a note indicating she can only make $30/month payments.  On 3/7/17 she contacted us again regarding her inability to pay more than $30/month.  She was told at that time of the company policy and that her payments were below the minimum payment that could be accepted.  On 3/22/17 she received her second collection letter and on 4/21/17 her third letter.  Following company policy her account was sent to an outside collection agency on 5/5/2017.  Management did attempt to return her phone call but had to leave a message and then on 5/22/17 management called her back and was able to talk with her.  It was explained at that time that while we appreciated her efforts she was not making the acceptable minimum payment therefore the collection process continues.  If we were to accept her payment and agree to a payment arrangement she would have received a letter confirmation, had the payments taken automatically each month, and she would not have received further collection letters.  This arrangement was never agreed upon by Crosstown Surgery Center.  When the department manager spoke to her she was offered a discount to pay the bill off with one payment and if she were to do this we would reach out to the outside collection agency and ask they remove the report to the credit bureau.  She was supposed to call back on 5/26/2017 but did not.

Good morning, Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO) received this concern; while we appreciate the opportunity to review our patient's concerns, appropriately investigate and follow up, this particular concern appears to be specific to Crosstown Surgery Center.  This patient's financial account...

has been reviewed by our Business Office Supervisor upon receiving this notification from the Revdex.com, the patient's account has not been sent to collections.  Also, the mentioned phone number is specific to Crosstown Surgery Center. If this is intended to be received by TCO per the patient, I am eager to promptly follow up with the patient to clarify.  At this point, I will not reach out to the patient as that may create further confusion.  I look forward to hearing from you as how we can assist with resolving this matter; if indeed, it does apply to TCO.Thank you for your time.Kind regards,Christa [redacted]
