Excellent Tech response and Service Tech Expertise,BUTDue to a furnace emergency during single digit cold weather day (02/13/2016)the Invoice for total repair costs was SHOCKING! After later research and visits to other Lennox Service providers (SE MI & Toledo, OH) prior to an appointment with the owner of BHP to inquire if perhaps an error had been made on the price of a replacement air induction/combustion fan (Lennox # 68K21) at $559, it appears we were taken advantage ofOnline search showed prices for the replaced unit from $(Amazon.com) to $269, and in-person price quotes in the area were $to $for the same part packageAll were significantly lower that the $ we were chargedUpon meeting with the owner of BHP, I was told "The invoice is absolutely correct according to their AFTER HOURS-EMERGENY PARTS PRICE LIST." After presenting my price research and commenting that I'd NEVER heard of an " AFTER HOURS-EMERGENCY PARTS PRICE LIST," and requesting a price adjustment, I was flatly refused! Please be WARNED of their unusual pricing of parts though the actual work was expertly done The charges for the service call/ labor ($115) were reasonable as the actual replacement took less than minutes
Requested central A/C work HVAC at residence. Called in on Friday and Wednesday was first appointment ( with no scheduled time frame..just will show up)
Completion of work was on Friday so 3 days off from work for a simple bad thermostat . So prepare to be only given a day of arrival and time frame.
First serviceman after 3 hours was sure it was a fan control center , as he saw the burnt marks and would order part and left, assuming the part would arrive next day ( and taking work off) no call co show until I called and was informed with a tone of authority that it takes 2 days at least for part, I ask her to call me when part arrives.
On Friday a different service man arrived and went thru rechecking A/C only to report the problem was in the thermostat and di not need the fan control center. THANK GOODNESS FOR HONEST PEOPLE LIKE [redacted] whom completed work in 1 hour . [redacted] would of been over $350 turned out to be only $115.00
